Living up to it's claim this roller didn't shed at all. It loaded up paint easily and gives a slight texture (think faint orange peel). The nap is deep enough to account for some uneven surface but I wouldn't use this on a heavy textured project. An extremely pleasant surprise was how easy this roller was to wash. I usually feel like rising out rollers takes forever and often times I'm thinking to myself "Why don't you just toss this and get a new one next time". Not with this roller, it cleaned up quickly and without much effort. Than alone is worth it for me every time.

The roller cover does what it promises. I used this on drywall walls and ceilings. It loaded paint well and held a fair amount. Leading paint edges were easy to eliminate and the cover cleanly applied color without needing numerous applications. The cover did not shed at all. Cleaning was pretty easy but required a lengthy drying time. I'd recommend having one on hand for each type of paint you'll be using so you don't have to wait for one to dry before moving to the next application (if you having any more deeply textured surfaces you'll need a cover with a longer nap). This cover is a good choice. I paired it with a Wooster roller frame, paint tray, and disposable tray liners and had good results.

You can't go wrong in using this professional roller for your painting projects. This roller is for smooth to semi-smooth surfaces and for all paints. Paint goes on smoothly and easily and makes the
job easier. Easy to clean and can be used again. Also, it's made in the U.S.A.

It works for what it is supposed to do. There is really nothing that sets it apart from any other roller cover.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DIYinUT Great for Walls, Not for Textured Ceilings
We are remodeling our part of our house and we needed to paint the ceiling and walls. This paint roller works fantastic for walls or anything with a smooth surface. the paint loads pretty well into the roller and doesn't splatter as much as other budget rollers tend to do. However once i tried this on our textured ceiling it didn't work very well. it has a difficulty in getting into the smaller spaces and ends up requiring more coats of paint to get the even coverage. if you're going to do a textured ceiling pick up a roller specific for textured ceiling because this one is a bit difficult.

Wooster makes quality products, and this paint roller is no exception. I used it to paint drywall with a premium paint. It rolled well, did not shred or leave fibers behind and left an excellent finish.
I almost always wash out my roller covers and attempt to use them again. I did so w/ this cover as well. It washed and dried well. The nap dried out and "fluffed" nicely (that's probably not an official term, but "fluff" seems the best description). If you don't re-use your covers, it won't matter. But it was helpful to me and my cost saving methods!

I just painted my kitchen ceiling with this. It's a dropped ceiling without a lot of room to maneuver so I had to roll pretty much directly over my head. A super bonus is that these don't spatter as much as others. The nap does seem pretty dense, it picks up paint from the tray very evenly, and applies paint just like it should. These really do seem to work better than others I've tried.
