Everything about this product. It's cheap for a reason. Every part on it is 3rd rate. Look, if you intend to buy a tape measure just so you'll have one on hand in case you MAY need it once every other year, then yeah, knock yourself out. Better yet, borrow one from a neighbor. BUT if you want to actually use your tape measure for any real project over the years, buy a name brand. It's worth the extra couple buck. Seriosly, don't ever buy Workforce!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jayarek Worked fine for several years; coil finally broke and useless now
Had the Workforce Bigboss 33 ft tape measure for several years. Worked okay. Coil finally broke and it useless now. Seems to be discontinued. Go figure. Getting a Stanley or Dewalt Made in USA now.

After only a couple of uses the tape itself cracked about an inch in though it didn't break completely through it's pretty useless now because it's really difficult to extend and because the tape is broken about half way through it's impossible to hook it on anything and have it remain in place so may as well have a 3 foot measure.

This product is not worth even the price. It was the least used and most despised hand tool at my construction project this summer. I pulled the tape to its full length twice after which it would not retract entirely. My helpers also rated this product very low - not worth it. The print on the tape in fractions of 1/8th is nice but it does not do any good if the tape does not work.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Biglen Workforce 12' power tape and some other sizes
I could not understand why I was having trouble with my measurements. I then discovered the problem. This tape is not easy to use for inside measurements. Normally you add 2 inches (or another even inch) to the tape reading, which is easy. On this tool you must add 2 3/8 inches. Way to many calculations for my lazy mind.
