A necessity. Buy extra as they don't last. Very inexpensive, but are needed for spray guns.

It is made of cardstock weight paper, and as soon as the paint soaks in it will fail and fall apart. Even before that, the strainer wants to fold closed so you have to keep one hand on it to hold it open in the neck of the receiving container. Straining a few cups of thin paint, varnish, or stain at one time, it works as a cheap solution. Barely. If your paint is thick at all, it will take long enough to strain through this ultra fine mesh that the paper may fail before you are done. Better to invest in a plastic mesh reusable strainer .
