I purchased two for my hallway to see if they made my super long hallway appear shorter (visual breaks like multiple runners and hanging lights help). At their shortest length, they hang 15" from my ceiling due to my can light being inset into the ceiling. I can't just shorten the cord because I have to get my hand in there to screw it into the fixture and the medallion cockadoodledoo-blocks it. I'm concerned extra tall people might bump their heads or feel claustrophobic walking down the hallway.
Otherwise it looks fine I guess. As other reviews stated, the silver ceiling medallion/plate doesn't sit flush with the ceiling very well, and the quality of the glass is poor (rough uneven edges). But for the price, I suppose it's what I should expect.
I really like the non-committal nature of the screw in feature and convenience and of not having to hard wire it in. I needed my husband's help while hanging it (another set of hands makes it much easier) I think I'll go ahead and purchase 3 more to finish off the hallway.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by hhhhh4321 Great, just wish it had a different glass globe
Difficult to get short enough for my space, but overall very good. Wish it had a different globe so the light wasn't so visible, but easy enough to change.

Did not like the look of it, it looked cheap; the cord was all bent up and difficult to wind.
Will be returning all 4 pendants.

The installation of this conversion kit was going so well. It was very easy to wrap the cable and install the adapter. I would have been finished within 10 minutes. And then I tried to install the globe (glass shade) over the throat of the electrical unit only to find that the glass shade had been molded to a smaller size and wouldn't fit over the threaded throat. I tried screwing the globe on, tried removing the threaded portion, considered grinding down one or both parts and finally decided it best to return the entire assembly. I couldn't even consider exchanging it because the glass shade is molded and all others would have to be the same diameter. I'll try again with another model and cross my fingers that they're a better fit.
