Thank you for your interest in Bernzomatic products. Yes, this cylinder is appropriate with the proper fittings. Typical Camper\RV systems use a Type 1 acme connection. This cylinder has a internal left hand thread, female POL valve. You will likely need to purchase an adapter to turn the female left hand thread, into a standard type 1 connection. Thank you for your interest in Worthington cylinders. Yes, this can be stored in the elements. However, if you would like, you can simply cover the valve and collar with a tarp & straps ( a weighted lid or board?) or something similar. But it is not required. If the tank is not being used, yes, the shed would seem to be a good idea. If you have any additional questions please call 1-800-359-9678 or Read More

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It came with a dent and was not pressurized as it stated. It came with a dent and not pressurized. Heavier than we thought. July 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by does the job This was a simple cylinder. Came on time as promised in perfect shape. However I needed accessories to make sure I could fill it and make a safe connection to my generator. HD should sell those right along side of this unit. June 24, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yep, they'er Propane tanks I ordered then from DH ship to store, when they came in I went and picked them up. Took them to U-Haul and they filled them with propane. And now they sit there full of propane. They do exactly what I'd hoped they'd do, store propane. One thing, the cheaper ones don't have an 80% full dip tube for filling so you have to have a full charge of propane "Weighed-In" on a scale. October 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great deal Found this at a great price and in stock at my store. Great purchase for running construction heaters. January 25, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's a tank. Top ring smashed in shipping There is almost nothing you can do to hurt these, they are a solid steel tank. My only issue is that they are packed in a way that allows them to completely bend the ring that protects the shutoff valve when being shipped. I bought 2 and both had the top ring mangled. I kept them because my local store does not carry them and shipping might be another week and a half fiasco. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for the Appication This size of propane tank is exactly what I need for the application I was using it for. I figure that it will last a whole year on one fill. December 29, 2015
