CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 135 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VERY PLEASED I purchased this item based on the reviews. I am nearly 60 years old, and due to my husband's failing health, have become responsible for cutting the lawn, which is approx. 1/2 acre. I needed something lightweight that I could control. Was a little skeptical when I laid eyes on this little toy lawnmower, but it has been a blessing to me. We have a combination of Fescue, Centipede and Zoysia and this mower does a good job on all. I can cut the whole yard on one battery charge. Since it is made of plastic, I'm not sure how long it will last, but for now, I am very, very pleased. April 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for my small-ish yard I chose this mower because it was affordable, lightweight, and cordless electric. The idea of keeping gasoline in my garage for a gas mower did not appeal to me. This mower is easy to maneuver and cut right through my tallest grass. I was able to mow my entire lawn on one charge and had battery life left over. My six-year-old son was able to push it around too, although it will be easier for him when he's taller and older. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for a back yard mow I bought this because I was tired of having gasoline stored in my shed and needing to buy it every so often. Especially since I use my mower once every couple of weeks. (Arizona, very little rain) I bought this for a 1/4 acre back yard and it works wonderfully. It's base is smaller than most gasoline mowers, but once you get used to that it works great. It's very light! I fold everything up when I store it, then pick it up with one arm with the battery in the other and walk to the back yard. There's no exhaust fumes (obviously), and when it mows it sounds like a box fan hitting grass. I've gone through some very thick weeds that sprung up after a week of rain, and that's where the difference between gasoline and electric goes away. I moved it from 'quiet' to it's other setting that I can't remember off the top of my head, and I worked my way through it without a problem. I left it on a spot for 2 seconds and it chewed it's away down, then pulled back, pushed forward, repeat. If I did that with my older gasoline mower, the engine would have bogged down and died repeatedly. Granted, the battery will last about 30 minutes to an hour before charge. That's the only real downside, so if you're looking for going longer on a single run you'd be better off with either two batteries or another mower. February 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet, and it does what it;s supposed to. With a small yard, this thing just works, and on a single charge I can cut my entire yard in an hour. Its actually the size (14" cut) of a large toy, but it does the job. We will see how it handles the summer, but for now it does as good a job as any. May 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by terrible battery I've had this mower for 2 yrs. After the first year the battery died the first cut. Got it replaced after some hassle, then the second battery just went out again in the same manner. Also some plastic on the bottom of the mower started breaking after the first year. Worked great when it ran, but for the price it is complete garbage. March 31, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty good little mower Pretty good little mower. Really like the convenience of not dealing with gas. The battery lasts long enough to do both my front and back yard; however, it does take a while to fully charge, so you have to remember to re-charge after you're done. We have a relatively small front and back yard - typical 1970's tract house in So Cal. so this is more than sufficient. The small size makes it easy to store, but the narrower deck means more passes on the yard; Also, I thought the smaller size would make it easier to maneuver, but the steering is not great; Additionally the bag is small and fills up fast, requiring multiple empty-ings while mowing. However, this is part and parcel to choosing a smaller mower. It does feel a little like a toy, but it is getting the job done. I wish I could get a shorter cut - even on the shortest setting my grass seems longer than my neighbors. Also still needed to get an edger/trimmer to get the grass along the drive, sidewalk, etc. However, for price, I'm pretty happy so far. March 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First electric lawnmower I'm very pleased with the purchase of this mower. Even though I have a large yard it does the job. I don't mind having to do it in two days so I recharge the battery. So I recommend this mower to ones like me with disabilities. April 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Battery powered lawn mower. Works quite well as a senior citizen, not fuss. . Does not need a lot of strength to operate. April 7, 2015
