Customer Reviews

17 in. 24-Volt Walk-Behind Cordless Electric Push Lawn Mower is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to use I bought my worx mower in early 2011. After 1 year it quit working suddenly, just wouldn't start. Worx customer service did not have a repair center near me so they just sent a brand new mower to me. This one lasted nearly two years before the same thing happened. Called customer service. They are sending me a new mower to replace the one that quit, as of May 7,2014. I can't praise Worx Customer Service enough! This company really stands behind their products. This mower is very easy to use, no gas, oil, or cord to mess with. Its very quiet (if I mow early it will not wake neighbors up). I love that the handle folds down so it takes up less room to store it as well. You also save the cost of gas and oil plus having to store the gas in your garage. I did have a problem with it clogging up when I used the bag, but I just mow without the bag. It does a great job every time I used it, until it suddenly would not start. Worx stands behind their mowers for 3 years from the time of purchase. I would recommend this mower to everyone and have many times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little machine! I purchased one of these in the spring of 2012 because my gas mower took 7 to 10 pulls to start when cold. My gas mower required $4.00/gal gas and I had to add oil. This mower only requires that I plug the battery in overnight. Since I already pay for my electricity, it literally cost me nothing to operate. I love the removable battery because I will be able to store it in the basement for the winter. The height setting lever works so easy and with just one lever I can adjust the height in seconds. The bag has a flap on the top to let you know when the bag is full. The unit is very light weight and easy to handle. And its so easy to use, you just slide the key switch sideways and squeeze the handle and your running. No more yanking on pull cords and throwing my back out. And yes I can cut my 1250 square feet of lawn on a single charge and not even use half the battery. And I have a typical lot size of 65ft. x 138ft. and I could cut two of these lot sizes without a problem. This machine really does live up to the advertisement. Features are excellent, quality is good except for the handle bar it could be better designed and the foam grips are ripping. Ease of use is excellent. Value could be a little less expensive but well worth the money. I don't normally recommend products but in this case it's a great little machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing, powerful and long lasting small electric lawn mower. My wife and I had many doubts on the power of an electric lawn mower and how long it would last because we have a lot of grass to cut on our .45 of an acre property. All doubts were put to rest when we used it the first time. The lawn mower lasts more than 30 minutes and even cuts down weeds. The best part is you don't have to deal with gas and its so easy to start. It has power and quiet settings, 3 in 1 with adjustable handle. It is so light weight that I can push it with one hand using my motorized wheelchair. We have had the Worx lawn mower for 2 months now and we are still very satisfied with it. Only downside is the expense of the mower and depending on how much you use it, the extra expense on electric bill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 14 months! I bought this mower May 4, 2013 and by July 26, 2014 I could not get the mower to start, let alone turn over. The battery was fully charged and all other instructions were followed. I emailed customer service and they were very helpful, but unfortunately this model of mower is not available at this time so they can not replace the mower, but are sending me a prorated check for the amount of the mower. It is caused a hassle for me to research another cordless mower that has received excellent reviews. I will not be purchasing another Worx mower, in fear that this same thing will happen a year down the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had some problems, but they were simply resolved Had similar problems with the battery and charger. I was so disappointed because I really thought this was my best purchase, EVER! I was so happy when customer service resolved it by replacing both with just the shipping being charge to me. I love my mower (and other WORX products) and can't wait to be able to use it again. When I asked if there was anything I could do that could mitigate this problem again, I was given tips (including not to charge it until the battery had ample time to cool off, thanks!) that were very helpful. Don't write them off if you have problems, they will work to help solve them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great but.................. I bought this a month ago. Its a great mower for small lawns. I live in a townhouse and its nice to store in my basement. No gas & oil fumes. ONE problem, the charge only lasts 45 minutes no matter how long you charge it. I end up doing the front one day and the back the next day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight, quiet, simple to operate, battery lasts I was looking for a mower that's narrower to get in our tight spots, light weight so my kids can help, doesn't make me inhale a bunch of fumes, and if electric, lasts throughout the entire yard. This fits the bill. It's incredibly easy to use. My yard is small (<5000 sq. ft), but quite a bit larger than others in my neighborhood. The first two times I've mowed with it, when finished, two of the three battery check lights showed, so it had a lot more it could go. The only issues so far are that the height adjustment sticks out far enough that it can sometimes catch on stuff, and the blade didn't come as sharp as I would like, so I sharpened it.
