According to the manual 100ft and 150ft cords are not recommended. This is a 13 amp mower and the cord ratings for a 12-16 amp tool are 14 gauge at 25 ft and 12 gauge at 50 feet.

17 in. Walk-Behind Corded Electric Lawn Mower is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight maneuvers easily. This mower was ready to go in no time. The on/off button is located on the upper portion of the handle next to the levers that stop the mower. Since the mower is so lite you can control it with one hand and control the cord with the other. The mulching feature installs fast and easy, the rear bag holds a large amount of clippings and comes on and off without a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works as described, and well manufactured I originally bought another basic electric lawnmower and it broke within 3 days. I returned it to home depot, and did not like the in-store selection for replacement. I went online and found this one, and It was exactly what we were looking for. we have a small yard, with some steep hills. This little lawnmower is light, easy to maneuver, and sturdy. It does not have all the features of a high-end mower, but it also does not have that price-tag. I got everything I paid for and it was exactly what I wanted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lightweight, easy assembly, could be more powerful my first corded mower. i have owned two battery powered mowers both lasted only 1 1/2 to 2 years. both warranties were expired and repair was almost as much as new. This corded mower was minimal assembly and very light. my lawn is pretty thick and the mower isn't powerful enough to mulch the grass. I have a small lawn so i just cut twice a week. I would avoid this if you have even an average size lawn on 1/4 acre. I have only owned it for 2 months but so far it meets my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price This mower does all that it advertised. The only drawbacks are the total length, especially with the grass catcher, make it hard to turn in tight corners. And the deck is narrow, but I suppose that is the price you pay to use an electric motor. Overall, a great purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use with minimal effert Arrived in a reasonable time. Found this to be a very good and easy to use. I have tried 3 other brand and non was as good as this one. Works perfect with my small lawn, It can manage cutting with ease even after a month. Easy to adjust the hight, good built, quiet and simple to empty. Highly recommend. specially in the low price category.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Mower! Especially with a hill! I bought this mower for two reasons: because I wanted to move away from gas and I have a ferocious hill! I used to have to pay a service to cut it because it is just too dangerous to cut. The typical mower would slide down and I would loose control because of the weight of the engine, gas and clippings. Fast forward to last week. I cut my whole yard without a single ounce of gas. The mower is smaller than others and I was concerned that it couldn't handle my overgrowth. Not so! It mowed better than the gas one. You do have to plug it in, which means you have a cord. It feels a lot like vacuuming. Meaning you can hold the cord with one hand and mow with the other. I will admit, I would prefer not to have a cord, but to put a battery on it would add to the weight. Not going to help me. The controls are easy to use and the assembly was a breeze. An overgrown lawn couldn't slow it down. Bag holds much more than you think! The mulcher plug comes out easy, read the directions. BOTTOM LINE: EXCELLENT MOWER, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A HILL! (Buy a quality 100' extension cord)
