Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Burgher Great product!
Received as a gift from my in-laws for Christmas. Have used it several times and it's a wonderful alternative to a gas powered snow blower. My father purchased a Toro electric snow thrower this year and I used the Toro on his driveway. While both the Toro and the Worx both have about the same power and capabilities, the Worx feels better in your hands and your hands do not cramp up like they do on the Toro. The Toro requires quite a bit of squeezing the handle, whereas the Worx has fingertip handles which are much easier to use. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to a larger gas powered snow blower.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BBAT Does its job, some very bad things with it though
It's definitely powerful and moved 8 inches of wet snow a lot better than I expected but a few things really made me say wow in a bad way. The "locking mechanisms" that hold the two parts of the handle together is garbage. I snapped the bottom one with very little force. This isn't self propelling and where it should be strongest (where the force is when you push it) is it's weakest link. They should be embarrassed of the engineering used to hold the handle assembly together. Something stronger than weak plastic. I used some wing nuts to hold it together, simple and worked much better. If you buy it just be prepared to fabricate something to keep the handles connected to the rest of the machine. Worth keeping to me because of its snow moving ability.

I purchased the Worx 13.0Amp 18" Snow Blower in 2013 because I was tired of mixing gas, adjusting carburetors, changing spark plugs, priming to start, flooding the carburetor. So far it has handled some fairly heavy Iowa snows (6-8") to my complete satisfaction. Truly can throw snow 30 feet. Starts at the push of a button. Handle collapses easily for storage.

My 21" Craftman's Snow Thrower threw it's auger belt. I borrowed my neighbor's Worx Snow Thrower. I am IMPRESSED. It threw the snow further. Was easier to operate. Was lighter to manipulate. SOLD!!! I am now pricing them and intend to buy one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Angelo Best in its price range
Compare the worx spec's to the snow joe...toro....or some of the off brands...easy assebly...light weight but sturdy...18 inch clearing path...cant complain for this price range.....dont think you'll be able to clear a ft & a half of snow with this...Under 8-9 inches youll be okay..you get what you pay for...& for 240 dollars this is a great snow thrower...

Worxs electric snow blower. Bought it to keep on the deck to keep the pathway to the house clear. We have a larger snowblower for the driveway but the Worxs is light weight and easy to use.
