19 in. Walk-Behind Cordless Electric Lawn Mower is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept... With weak execution. I have had this unit for a year now and I generally like it. The biggest problems I have found are that the blade is to small and is in consistent in it's cut quality. Additionally the battery is just not enough to handle my yard (less the 1/3 acer) on a single charge, with a recharge requiring 12 hours. It also seems that the charge capacity has diminished over the last year. So with out the purchase of an over priced lead acid battery, I can not complete the yard in a single day (mowing weekly). With some blade refinements and an upgrade to the Worx 48V MaxLithium battery, this could be a great mower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I was very skeptical about a cordless electric lawn mower before purchasing this mower and so far (have used the mower twice) I could not be more impressed. Having read many reviews of other cordless electric mowers, my primary concerns were battery life and quality of the cut. This mower is more expensive but does not seem to have the flaws described of other mowers available on this site. We have a 1/3 acre hilly lot and this mower finishes cutting with 1/2 a charge left. The cut is comparable to a gas mower. The self-propelled function works very well and really does match to your speed. My only concern for the future is how many years the battery will maintain a good charge, but only time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is not a cost, it is an investment!! Where do I start! there are so many benefits. One lever adjustment which is expecially awesome for my wife. No more gas, no more oil, no more pulling to start, no more calls from my wife saying she cant start the mower too. I mowed my lawn twice and still had plenty of juice. I have a hilly yard it took the hills great!! One section of my yard is very steep, it held traction and I felt in full control of the lawn mower. The mower also has 3 levels you can adust the height of the push arm. I put it on high and my wife on lower since I am 6'3" and she is 5'4". All attachments work very well. Storage is a snap also. Just pull the clip and the push arm folds over rather than unscrewing. I will never go back to a gas mower!! well worth the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still needs work Unit is pricey. The battery is ridiculously pricey. Now on to the mower performance---Pros-- very quiet, no oil to fuss with, no gas to fuss with--as long as you keep the battery charged it is always ready to go. Cons--leaves furrow like edges / missed grass, even with overlapping cutting rows--- which means you have to go over the lawn twice to get an overall clean even cut--whether you are using standard or turbo mode. The actual sharpened edge of the cutting blade is quite short which does not help either. Battery takes 12 hours to charge which means you really need 2 batteries in order to completely mow the lawn in one day (I have just shy of a 1/3 of an acre to mow). I like the concept but, when this mower wears out , I will think long and hard before buying another, unless the clean cutting issues are fixed---especially considering the price of the mower plus replacement battery

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a Lithium Ion option / upgrade I've had this mower for 3 years now. Pros: quiet, ease of use, one of the first usable battery-powered lawn mowers. Cons: The mower is long and narrow so it is slightly hard to maneuver, The blade seems an inch too short so it is hard to mow close to the edges of your lawn, expensive battery wears down after a few years. Overall this mower is good. The single handle adjustment for the cutting height is good, but the handle will scrape against my house shingles if I try to cut close. The pacesetter system is a good idea, but it seems like a solution looking for a problem. It should just have a speed setting like most mowers and will go at that speed when you push the handle. The problem is if the mower jerks or bumps it'll stop and it takes a few seconds to get moving again. So the delay is too long and the ride can get herky-jerky too much. I could live with all these "behaviors" if the battery would last the way it did the first year. It is degrading and I can't finish a 1/3 acre lawn on one charge. What Worx needs to do is stop inventing strange new things like that weird Jawsaw thing and offer this mower with an upgraded lithium ion battery. I hate the idea that I might have to buy a second battery, but I would absolutely buy a Lithium Ion battery upgrade if it meant I could mow my grass on one charge again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worx Works! This is the first mower I have ever owned. I've used a few in the past from growing up with an old rusty manual 'rotory-style' to gas, but never electric. I was skeptical about power, the battery lasting long enouph and having self propelled. Everyone told me not to do it. They would be surprised how far electric has come! The mower powered right through dried out 4-5 feet tall weeds in 'power mode'. That did drain the battery fast (1/2 hr) but I don't think it was fully charged out of the box. To my surprise, the next charge lasted 3 hours and finished almost my whole property. Keep in mind that I have some really steep hills, so the self propelling aspect really came in hand. I am so glad now that I decided to get one with it. I still had to use some force in some area's because the hills are just that steep, but I am sure i'd have to use force with anything. The mower is fairlly large, so it covers ground quickly but is difficult to maneuver around tight spaces. I am now waiting on the 24V Lithium WorxGT weedwacker/edger that I will now use on those areas instead. Overall I have to say that it feels great not dealing with gas and oil and the machine has really inpressed me so far. I beleive that as long as I cycle the battery regularly (including winter!), I am gong to feel great about going green every time I cut my grass for a long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I don't usually write reviews but this lawnmower is excellent. I'm very happy with it. My back yard had weeds that were getting pretty tall (about 3 feet) and it was able to cut through with no problems. I have a medium sized yard so its perfect for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worx cordless electric mower I'm a 70-year old couch potato woman whose husband has back and hip issues so I do the mowing. I hate gas mowers--the odor, the mess , the noise. I love this baby...it helps me uphill, slows down when I do and speeds up on the straight stretches. Seriously, this is a great mower: it cuts well, is quiet, easy to use.
