CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love my edger/trimmer I wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoy using my Worx trimmer. We own a gas powered trimmer that is heavy and I can't start by myself. Therefore no weedwacking got done all summer(3 men in the house)get the picture. So,I bought myself the Worx trimmer. It works great.I'm wacking down 3 foot high weeds. My only negative is that it only holds a charge for about 30 minutes.I'm going to purchase another battery so I can keep going.I would recommend this tool to anyone, especially women. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by relatively easy to use, no cord, no gasoline Although gas-powered trimmers get better reviews, I like not having to smell fumes, listen to a gas engine, and the trimmer does what it's supposed to. June 25, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by for people shorter than 6 ft The weight is ideal - very light and the power is more than sufficent - the power charge is good, keeping in mind you should only buy this if you have a small yard - or only need to trim around your mailbox, sidewalk and partial fence, ideal if you live in a condo - this is not they type of edger to purchase if you are taller then 6 foot. It is very light weight, so your wife or child can use it. The safety guide is a waste of plastic, it gets in the way and prevents your from actually edging close to fence lines, mailboxes, etc. Just remove it (or dont put it on in the first place) and it works great. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tumb down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The battery must be defective. After fallowing the booklet instructions to the letter in charging the battery at the breaking down pace, the unit stops working after 10 to 15 minutes for every charge. It is frustrating to have to keep charging the battery every 15 minutes. This alone makes me wonder if I should return the unit or try a new battery. May 23, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Piece of junk do not buy Does not work as adverised. Had for almost 2 years and has not stayed running on a charge for more than 15 min at a time. They advertise being able to go around football field two times on a charge. Company does not reply to complaints. Do not buy. May 26, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WORX GT150 trimmer/edger I love this item. It does a better job of edging than my previous two edgers, which were gas and electric powered. It is a workhorse when it comes to trimming. I love the fact that you don't have to change the string every time you turn around. A push of a button, and you have more string. I will, however, need to purchase an additional battery because my trimmer runs out of power before I finish all my trimming and edging. September 6, 2009
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased I bought this trimmer because I also own the Worx GT 19" cordless mower (which I love). I am not disappointed with the trimmer. Since it takes 4 or 5 charges to reach the battery's full potential, I used it for "mowing" a small part of my yard, where landscaping makes using the mower difficult, in order to run down the battery, and was surprised how long it went with just the first charge. It weighs next to nothing and with telescoping shaft and adjustable head, it's perfect for a 57 year old woman like me. May 2, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worx trimmer is junk Do not buy this trimmer. Battery only lasts for 5 minutes after owning this for 3 years. Started getting weak in year 2 of owning it. It is lacking on power and overall battery life is not very good if you need to trim a little thicker brush. I have a small yard and thought I would be ok with this trimmer. Now I feel like I threw my money away. Go with a gas trimmer. This is worthless... August 21, 2010
