I cleaned one city yard of a large maple trees worth of leaves. I cleared 14 smaller bags(30 gallon) of mulched leaves. In this time small twigs or something I was mulching continuously punched holes into the beginning foot of the connecting tube. I had to wrap it in tape and eventually it split and I needed to cut a foot off and reconnect it TWICE. This left the tube short now. I was not sucking up logs, just normal yard debris like their infomercial showed. I am very disappointment in the product durability. I contacted WORX and got terrible customer service. For how much this tube and piece of fabric costs it should be durable. FAIL.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MX58 Harder to install on barrel than it should be
As silly as it sounds this proved to be a nusance to install on a standard trash barrel by yourself. Once installed it worked well but as with any tool or accessory if you find it a bother to set up you find you won't use it. If the manufacturer had only sewn in an elastic band type of material into the fabric it could have held itself in place on the barrel rim while the draw string was secured. I still recommend it for purchase BUT ONLY because the only other option is the shoulder held bag that comes with the leaf blower/mulcher unit.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shane Great idea but does not work
Followed the instructions on attaching to my garbage can, every time I would start the work tri-vac the collection system would blow off the garbage can. I even went to the extreme and drilled holes around the garbage can in an attempt to release the amount of air being pushed into the can. That only worked for about 10 seconds then blew right off. The plastic securing lock on the cord used to tighten the system to the can broke the second time attaching the system to the can. I returned it the next day!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kbut Does the job promised but can be hard to mount on can
beats raking leaves but can be hard to set-up due to the weight of the tube pulling the cover off the can top before the cinch string is tightened. Once mounted & tied it 'overfilled' a 30 gal. can in minutes without plugging up. Leaves were slightly wet. I'm going to try connecting it to a dust-type collector with the dust-bag off and the discharge connected to the input hose, using the leaf blower to pile the leaves in from of the intake.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JToro Very convenient
I bought this item and used it right away, it works great. I always had to empty the bag after a few minutes because it was so small. Now I can do my entre yard without changing or emptying bags. My garbage can has a lip, so I have not had the trouble with it blowing off, but if I did, I am sure there is a solution. You have to approach it for what it is and how it works.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Joero71 Not Bad For The Price
It does work. It's not as hard to maneuver the trash can, extension cord, and the TriVac as I thought it would be. I did step on the hose (like a wet vac. hose - hard spiraled plastic material) one time by accident and crushed it. I had to mold it back into place and duct tape the hole I made.
Pros - Inexpensive. Fits most garbage cans. Great for those areas that rakes are too big for. Not as physically exerting as raking and bagging is.
Cons - Doesn't save much, if any, time. Hose is too short, meaning you have to move your collection can often. Clip for holding the tension string around the trash can broke on the first day. I just tied the tension string to trash can handle & it worked fine. If you don't get a tight seal around the collection can, the lid has a tendency to pop off, which can be messy with dust and mulched leaf debris.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by barb WorxTriVac Leaf Collection system
it's a good idea but for the price it cost, it isn't worth it. i though all you had to do is put it in a garbage can, but you need a cover too, you have to cut a hole in the cover and then if you want it to pick up leaves good, you have to buy another part that connects to the end of the hose. after buying all that, you could just buy a big cheap wet/dry vac that does the same thing!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by alangski Works Great
I bought this and it worked just like it was supposed to. It made my clean up a lot faster.what I did was blow all the leafs into a pile then I used the Worx Trivac that I had connected to a regular 33 round garbage can that had a contractor garbage bag in it. Just pull the cord as tight as you can. This product is worth it.
