Product Overview

The Worx Trivac Deluxe is a 3-in-1 compact blower, mulcher and yard vacuum all in one. The WG502.2 brings three functions together in one compact, lightweight machine with a 2-stage mulching system with shredder blade and all-metal impeller. The Worx Trivac is lightweight and easy to use. At 8.6 lbs., the Worx Trivac weighs less than a gallon of milk. In fact, it is the only blower/vac actually designed to be used with only one hand. With its wrap-around soft grip handle, blowing off your driveway or vacuuming leaves around the patio are almost effortless. With the Trivac WG502.2, there is no hassle with changing large bulky tubes when you want to change from a blower to a vac. With the flip of a switch, it can easily go from blower to vac. The Trivac Deluxe has a metal impeller blade which increases the mulch ratio to 18:1. The metal impeller is also heavier duty against solid debris objects. The convenient Worx large-capacity collector bag holds up to 10 gal. of mulch (equal to 100 gal. of dry leaves) and is made of special breathable nylon fabric to maximize airflow. The bag's proprietary quick-connect coupler makes emptying and replacing it a snap. Unlike other standard blower/vacs, The Worx Trivac comes with a unique angled tube to easily vacuum leaves from under decks or play equipment. The blower tube on the Deluxe has a built-in airflow regulator which allows the adjustment of the blower speed to the job.

  • Instant one-switch blower/vac conversion no switching tubes
  • 2-stage mulching system with shredder blade and all-metal impeller
  • One hand operation, compact and lightweight at 8.6 lbs.
  • High impact resistant impeller mulches leaves 1/18th original size
  • Angled nose for easier access under decks and shrubs
  • Blower speed produces 210 MPH of air

Is this blower/vac recommended for a medium sized yard with big trees(lots of leaves), and we have garden lava rocks. Would that just spit them out?

Asked by: lotsofleaves
The size yard and number of trees should be irrelevant in choosing this machine. It will stand up to the use just fine. I would recommend the leaf collection system (WA4054) as an option since that will allow you to bypass the collection bag and fill an entire trash can in one session. I would blow the leaves out of the lava rock with the blower function rather than vacuum across them since the machine might pick up the lava rock and try to mulch the rock. Once you have blown the leaves out of the rock, you can then vacuum them up and mulch.

The LeafPro Leaf collection system fits over trash cans from 32 gallon to 55 gallon so if your bag will go over the rim of the trash can the LeafPro will fit it.

Customer Reviews

Trivac 210 MPH 350 CFM 12 Amp Electric Blower Vacuum Mulcher with Metal Impeller is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! This machine is awesome! They only problem I have is (I am 68) the weight of the leaf bag and blower, mulcher/vac combined. Also the bag is a little cumbersome to empty. Next year I will purchase the universal lid that fits on a 33 gallon container. I have a shade garden with one large tree with large leaves and this makes it possible to remove the leaves without taking the mulch with it. I also use it in the landscaping around the house where leaves blow into the mulched areas. We have several trees next door where the leaves fall in our yard or are blown there and I am looking forward to using to keep the leaves picked up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from double duty but could be improved Having the vacuum and blower on one tool makes it easy to switch back and forth easily but... it is a bit heavy and awkwardly big. It would help to have a small handle on the vacuum tube just to have to grab. It would help because even though it is 9 lbs it can feel heavier after an hour. Taking the bag off the attachment tube feels like a wrestling match and the on/off switch sticks.. It did mulch and condense a lot of leaves in the small bag. Great tool without fussing with changing tubes but switches stiff and stick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money; delivers as advertised Everything I read was spot on. Not so great with wet leaves, and not for huge yards. For dry leaves and small yards, this machine does a fine job. Especially if you have an issue with hauling away bags of leaves; this chops them up so the volume you have to haul is significantly less (the major reason I purchased). I do wish the bag was a little larger, but they do make the attachment for a trash barrel that would solve that. I've used it twice and it worked very well to clean up a 10,000 SF yard that hadn't been raked out in a couple years. A total of about 10 hours, and it only jammed (sticks) 3 times; easy enough to clear them out. Used the blower just once, to clear the driveway, and it seemed to work well. All-in-all, a very nice machine; worth the money. Don't have many hours on it to comment on longevity (time will tell).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase to upgrade my old Worx Tri Vac I have big oak leaves in my backyard which were clogging up my old Worx Tri Vac and I had to stop the machine and pull out the clog....also...small sticks were a problem clogging the machine as well. After purchasing my 2014 Worx Tri Vac I am delighted to report that I do not have any more clogging. The metal impeller along with a secondary metal impeller works great with grinding up the big oak leaves and eating up the poplar twigs that the machine sucks up. I use the blower option to free up leaves that are behind lawn furniture and then suck them up into nice mulch. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has to deal with big leaves.....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When I have an extra hour to bag up a bag of leaves, I use this thing! Seriously, I'm constantly having to push the leaves through the mouth of vacuum part. As far as hoovering up leaves go, I can recommend it for around the edges of the house or in basement window wells, or possibly to pick up that last dusting of the leaf pile after you've manually bagged the rest yourself. Otherwise, don't bother. As far as the blower part goes, there are better blowers on the market for around the same price. If it was just a blower I'd give it three stars, for, "meh."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice It works well on leaves but you have to be careful to not vacuum up too many at a time it can clog up the end I am still very satisfied with the performance and my Wife likes it and she would just rake and bag in the past.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Very Good I have had similar products from other manufactures. This is a VERY POOR BLOWER and a POOR vac. The performance does not live up to the specifications.
