Does the knob only turn one way? I can't imagine why it is labeled 'right-handed'.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult item to replace I purchased this latch to replace an existing unit. The fit was fine, but the overall functionality of the latch is poor. I was pleasantly surprised that the components were a good quality for the price, however, the inner mechanics are two metal pieces that push against each other and often bind or are just too difficult to turn. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Glad I kept the old hardware The hardware wasn't to hard to install and worked fine the first few days, but then I started having issued with it turning and the locking screw on both sides coming loose. Luckily, I kept the old hardware and refurbished it and tossed this one into the trash. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the purchase I bought this to go along with a new screen door I purchased and this style matches what I have on my exterior doors. 3 weeks of nothing but headaches!! Screws were flimsy and one stripped out, locking screws kept coming loose, etc... Luckily I kept my old one and was able to install that one with zeroe issues. May 31, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Two main problems I installed this knob two weeks ago and have two major complaints with it. The setback from the edge of the door is short -- this is not an issue for the lever side but presents and issue for the knob side in that I'm not able to fit my hand between the jamb and the knob so grasping the knob is more difficult. The second issue is that the knob binds. I spent a long time working on this installation trying to improve its function with no improvent. April 24, 2012
