I researched many different styles and brands of these solar lamps until I decided on this product. I found the 300 Lumen had the brightest light, and a bargain price compared to others. Delivery took a little longer than it should have, but I am very pleased with my purchase.

Light was not very bright, it was the highest lumen solar light I could find, but it is not sufficient for what for what I need. Quality of product was ok.

I really like the Xepa Stay on All Night light for the dual brightness feature with the motion sensor. On high output it puts out a fairly white light about equal to a 60 - 75 watt bulb. It will cut back to the low output in about a minute if it detects no motion. At low output it is about equal to our driveway solar lights in brightness. Maybe 40 watts. With the solar lights on one side of the driveway and this on the other, it makes for a cozy look to our house. The glass does have a pattern in it that causes the light beam to refract and give a crystal pattern across the driveway. I am not sure if this is a plus but the neighbors say it looks very nice. So far as of this writing, it has stayed on from dusk till dawn every night on the motion detect setting. I got the light on a sale for about $20 off normal price. I would recommend giving this light a look if you are considering solar powered lights.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oceanside Works great and casts nice pattern
I used a 6 foot 3" PVC pipe to mount this lamp and it came out well.
The lamp works with two modes - High (which runs about 4 hours) and Low (which runs at least 10 hours. It's still on when I go to bed).
In Low mode, the motion detector turns it to high mode which is a nice feature.
The etching in the glass casts a nice pattern on the ground.

This light works great. The LEDs are bright and the solar power feature makes installation effortless. I took the old 110v light off the pole, removed the wire and used the set screws to install this one. I keep it on low because it lasts all night but high will get through most of the night. Does not illuminate like a 100w bulb, but cosmetically is very pleasing. Very well build product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Name worked, for a little while
I bought two for my back yard. Easy to install, less than 10 minutes for both. Looked great and worked for about 4 months. One still works great, but the other turns on and off rapidly (cycles about every 5 seconds) all night. I unplugged it, reset it, etc... It is not a problem with the light it gets, as nothing has changed since I installed. Maybe the light sensor went bad. I emailed customer support with XEPA, and got... no reply. Of course I am past the warranty so I am stuck with one light and one bird perch.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mhinvest Great if they worked
Ordered 2 of these for the end of driveway. Let charge for 2 days in the sun. One fails to work at all. Other will not turn on at night unless I totally cover the sensor. Will not work unless completely dark. This means for me that my neighbors 60 watt porch light even though over 200 ft away is enough light to make this not work. Tried calling Xepa customer support as they are warrantied for 1 year for help and after 1 hour on hold gave up and returned both units to Home Depot. These look great and I would of liked for these to work for me. Light output on the one that worked for me was equivalent to about 50 watts high and 25 low fully charged.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by woody disappointed in this solar powered outdoor lamp
This outdoor lamp is very dim. It hardly gives off any illumination. It hasn't been particularly sunny out so perhaps it will get brighter some day. I have it on what they call the conservation mode. There is a switch for maximum brightness but that would stay on continuously up to 4 hours , until the battery drains. I was looking for a dusk to dawn solar lamp that would give brighter output. It's already mounted and not worth the trouble taking it down or I would return it. If it was $25 instead of $75 I wouldn't complain and I have to admit that it does what it claims to do.
