I love the XEPA solar powered light. I've used it for an outdoor tabletop light a hundred different ways for almost four years and it is still working wonderfully. It has a beautiful mesmerizing light that illuminates for several hours. It's crafted with very heavy duty materials, so it really does stand the test of time. The portability is really awesome, too.

I bought this 6 months again and it's been working continuously exactly as described every night. I have no problem at all, so I am getting 2 more for light up my drive way in the near future!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KBKB Light with two modes
This light has two modes. One has the light come on full brightness at night, but that only lasts several hours before the battery goes dead. The other mode has the light come on at a dimmed, but still useful brightness, and it only gets brighter due to motion being detected. This is the mode that is designed to last all night. The mode switch is nicely protected from the weather by a clear plastic flexible cover.
There is minimal padding from the manufacturer in the box so you will want to check your glass, my first one was cracked and it shattered shortly after unpacking it.

The light was working beautifully; however, we had a lot of rain for a couple days, soft misty rain and discovered the light apparently leaks as it had about three inches of water standing inside the glass dome.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TW good for a while
this light performed marvelously for about 3 months. after that all it would do is "strobe" - on, off, on, off.
had it kept working it would be a five star product.

No assembly required, just mount the unit where it is supposed to go. I really like the hi/low feature with the motion detector but mine needs to be reset every two or three days (have to turn it off while there is sun shining on it, wait 10 seconds and turn it back on - can't easily reset it in the dark) or it does not turn on at dark. Motion detector and timer for it work quite well. I experimented with turning the light to various positions to get the motion detector to work the way I wanted. It's hard to see in the pictures but, (unless you go to full zoom) the glass has small bubbles in it that make a very nice starlight type pattern. For the price, well, it seems a bit high to me, but if it holds up, then it would be worth it. It was much brighter than I expected. This is NOT your average little dim sidewalk light; it will easily light up a 10' diameter circle.
