The black one appears to be a little shorter, but I see no difference in the blue and red other than price. Is there a difference in the red stool and the blue stool?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Returned! The top step is supposed to snap and lock onto the bottom step. Sounds easy, right? Except for one problem -- the top didn't lock in place after it snapped. As I tried to step on it, the top step came off! We tried multiple times, but it wouldn't lock in. Took it back to Home Depot, where they tried to get it to lock in, as well -- to no avail. Ended up with a refund instead. Next, bought the original design Kik Step Stool, which assembles the same way, but the top step locks in properly. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Classic look but cheap construction This is a very handy rolling stool to have in a kitchen. I like the old fashioned 'library or school' styling. However, it is all plastic including the wheels. Out of the box, the plastic shape was out of round and still hasn't regained its shape. The box is too tight. The stool rolls well on a wood floor and is just the right height (about a foot+) for my wife to reach the top cabinets in the kitchen. I do not think it would roll well on rough tile as the space when casters are in the 'down' position is very small. It is not very heavy so it actually tips easily if you lean too far over as my kids have learned. Not bad at a sale price, and I don't regret it, but I would spend a bit more if it were more solidly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handy item to have I have kitchen cabinets to the ceiling. This is great to have, I can easily reach those top shelves. No bending or opening a ladder. You can just push it with your foot to location. these should be in stock in the store. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Instantly I can reach the top shelf There were always things in my kitchen that were too high for me to reach. I ordered this stool hoping it would help me. It is larger around than expected, and provides more height than expected, but it works like a son of a gun. I can click in the tension curtain rod over the sink; I can reach and clean out the top shelf of the cabinets; and I can dust the blades of my ceiling fan--fast and easy. Just roll the stool where I need it and climb 1 or 2 steps. This is not a ladder, so I advise having something (chair back, counter) you can grab if necessary, but this little stool rolls around where ever I need it, and tucks into a corner or under the breakfast table when not in use. Bonus: the bright red makes me smile. OK, it's not duct tape, but it has about as many uses. More thas worth the purchase price. February 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Step Stool I have been looking for a locking, rolling step stool for years! I've kept a cracked one that I bought 20 years ago because it was so handy. Though it's long been relegated to the garage, I've wanted a replacement for in the house. When I saw these offered, I wasn't expecting much, but it was hopeful. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stool. It holds a good load. Though the rollers could be smoother, they work well. The stool arrives in two pieces. It requires very little assembly -- line up the holes, get on it and jump! It's ready to go! It has a lower step and an upper, so it's perfect for our little one to climb to hang up her own coat. She carries it around whenever she needs a step up. It has a small enough footprint to store in the mudroom or coat closet. It's one of my favorite Home Depot purchases! March 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it! With the long, tall cabinets in my new kitchen, I needed a stool to get at the upper shelves. This fit the bill nicely. I also use it as a chair for reaching into lower cabinets, I would highly recommend. It is also.so easy to move around. Easy to assemble. March 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product works well The product is sturdy and works well. It roles nicely when I am moving it out of the way, but provides a firm surface when I'm standing on it. Once I got it snapped together firmly enough, I've not been worried about standing on it at all, and I'm a big person. February 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy with purchase Light weight. Just the right height. Was difficult to assemble because getting the alignment right was challenging. I have had the step stool only a short time; I hope that the plastic connectors between the two pieces are sturdy enough so as not to break. February 25, 2014
