Bought this ladder to access a couple of storage spaces, nice to be able to adjust its length to suit different heights. Stows done into nice small package. Well made, strong and lightweight. Only reason for 4 stars is that the retracting mechanism is a bit unsettling, and it is possible to mash a finger when collapsing the ladder. If one follows the instructions and is careful, it works fine, but we aren't all instruction readers, are we?

I was amazed to learn how sturdy this ladder is. One would think that a telescoping ladder would be wobbly and unstable. This ladder is exactly what I needed. It's portable, compact, easy to store and, most important, safe. It's easy to extend and just as easy to collapse. As a suggestion, I'd like to one more size... a 6.5 foot version. I think there are folks out there that would purchase a shorter version if it was available.

Quality, sturdy, well made. Everything I expected and more. Great product. Would sell more if you carried them in store.

I loved the concept of the ladder. easy to use and move from place to place. One concern when closing the ladder, be very, very careful so fingers don't get pinched.
I bought it for one project, but discovered that if I bought the 10.5 ft, that I could use it to get into my
attic at home. So I did swap ladders for that reason only.
Very happy with the ladder.

I was looking for a short ladder to carry in my travel trailer, this fills the bill. About 30 inches compressed, and 8.5 foot extended.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Climber Ladder is lightweight and collapses very small
When collapsed this ladder is an incredible 5.1" x 20.1" x 28.3" and weighs just 16.5 pounds. I store it behind a filing cabinet and can grab it any time that it is needed. It is a light duty ladder and does have a fair amount of flex as you climb it. That is a bit unnerving, but you get use to it. You will not be hauling heavy loads up this ladder. TAKE THE PINCH WARNINGS SERIOUSLY. As you collapse the ladder you must pay attention and not have any part of your hands touching the the side rails or you will get injurred as the ladder collapses. This is clearly explained in the instructions. Please take head.

I bought this ladder because it is light and compact for carrying in my RV. It sure came in handy when I locked myself out of my RV, twice. It was easy to handle. I have also used it to wash my windows. All my RV friends were impressed with the easy use of the ladder. The ladder paid for itself the first time using it. The locksmith would have cost me at least twice as much.

i needed a ladder that was light weight, easy to store (low volume) for my Tiny Toy Hauler (a modified enclosed cargo trailer). Space is a real premium and this ladder fit the bill perfectly. The trailer roof is about 7 feet high and I bought the 8.5 foot ladder. A perfect fit. Very easy to both extend and collapse, no pinched fingers or physical struggling. A very good design. Price was right in line with cost/quality for what I needed.
