Could I use this as an antenna last. If i planted it and anchored it with guide wires

Asked by: Jon
It's 10 feet long. Depending on how high and how large the antenna and how many guy wires you'd use it might work. There's an alternative you might use, That's a heavy walled electriclal conduit.

What is the actual OD / Outside Diameter of the top rail? Is is actually 1-3/8" (1.375") or is it 1-5/16" (1.313"). I am asking because the line post diameter is listed at 1-5/8" (1.625) but the actual is frequently 1.66".
Asked by: Richard
According to the specifications it is 1.38" OD.

Do you have this 1-3/8in X 6ft. 6 inoches in the gauge galvanized rail?

Asked by: Nela
No. That length is not available, but this is easily cut to your needed length with a hacksaw. Be sure to cut the other end if you need the swaged end.

The 1-3/8 top rail tubing was just what I needed to complete bracing on my hoop house. I used the ten and half foot sections together to make twenty one feet and did cross bracing between the twenty eight feet wide bows. This strengthen the 15 feet high center arches and still allow me access with my large tractor inside the 3000 sq ft structure. They were easily connected with Tek screws. I purchased more than thirty sections and plan to build more structures exclusively with these top rails.

I added a few vertical poles, cut the top rails to length and secured them between the poles. This created a hand rail for the stairs and a physical barrier for the parking area.

This was just one of the many fence parts I bought to put in a fence extension as well as build a gate from. Products were great to use. A side note, I called the other home shop with the blue roof. They didn't have the stock and had no idea if of when they'd get more.
