I have dewalt p7dw hog ring stapler but it came with 16 gauge 11/16 rings.
my problem is they are being pulled apart by the weight of the bag so I was wondering if a different gauge would help and what gauges will fit my stapler or do I need to get a different stapler?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chain Link Hog Rings I made some turtle traps and used these to fasten the wire fencing together that makes the trap. They worked perfectly. You will want to purchase the hog ring pliers designed specifically for these in what ever project you're doing. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by They work These have been around for many years and was a farmers staple. For them to work right you also need the tool to squeeze them shut which is usually not that expensive. It is amazing how many uses there are for these if you have them on hand. May 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just What I Wanted I needed a easy and strong way to fasten 2x4 inch mesh fencing to cattle panels to keep two small dog from escaping. After trying cable ties, which did not hold up well in the sun and determined dogs, I found these. The pliers is cheap, and hog rings are a lot faster to install then cable ties. I have bought another batch of 800 of this type, just so I have some left over for the upcoming projects that I know will pop up where one need to fasten two items together. March 11, 2014
