Customer Questions & Answers

How would I attach this to an existing 4 ft black post(spaced 3 1/2 inches apart) aluminum fence?

Asked by: Mac
We used black coated aluminum chain link fence ties to attach the fencing to our fence posts. You can also use zip ties but they will degrade over time.

What materials do I need to install this fence? Also this fence is black, correct?

I saw the answer to use U-posts (This fencing should be installed with 3 foot U - posts spaced every 6-7 feet. The fencing will attach to the notches in the U-posts.), but don't quite understand. Is there anything else I need? I would also like to have a section that can be easily removed to drive the riding lawn mower through. How would I do that?
Asked by: Anonymous
To install this fence you need wire cutters to trim, Tie raps to attached to another barrier or fence and pliers if you need to shape around corners, etc.

Would this be good for building a squash arch?

Asked by: TC
The wire is 14 ga, so it should be stiff enough to use for a squash arch but I think the fact that the size of the holes varies from top to bottom, may make it less ideal than some of the other wire fencing. I also have raccoons and squirrels to be concerned about. Will this keep them out of my yard and garden as well?
Asked by: Nita
I don't know about raccoons, but since squirrels can climb, I doubt that this will keep them out.

28 in. x 600 in. PVC Black Rabbit Guard Poultry Netting is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? I bought this fence to keep my small dog from getting through the wrought iron fence in the back yard. It works well for that purpose. The black color of this fence matches the black of the wrought iron fence so this fence is fairly unnoticeable when installed. It is fairly easy to use. It is stiff and doesn't have much "give" when following along a rolling landscape. I have had to cut some of the longer runs into shorter sections because it doesn't go up and down the hills easily. Flat ground would be a snap. I don't know if it keeps the rabbits out, but it keeps the dog in.

Used 8 rolls of these to protect our community garden from rabbit intrusion. The black color is nice as it matches with the deer fencing on top and keeps the fencing less visible. The varied spacing between the horizontal wires give a better view through the fencing as you move up the fencing. The wire on the fencing is thick enough that rabbits can not chew through it and it also stands up to a weed eater.

I should have read all the reviews first. The rabbits (big or small) just use it as a ladder until they get high enough for hole to get through. I bought 200-ft of it and will be trashing it and replacing it with 4-ft high chicken wire. Definitely do not buy if you need to keep out rabbits.

We've had issues with wild rabbits in our back yard for years and finally we've solved the problem by installing this fencing along all access locations and driving those cute pesky bunnies from the yard. Now they're gone and can't get back in.
