Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nhbearskeepoutdogsstayin DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!! Or you will not have everything you need!! Hoping third time is a charm!
I'm not sure if the great reviews were based on people buying in stores, our local store does not stock this fence so I have ordered this online only....I am now placing a THIRD order to get the rest of the pieces!? NO WHERE does it state you need 2 fence post hardware kits per post.... Obviously you have to attach to both sides...so one would assume you only need 1 kit in between two posts....I have looked over the lacking instructions on this more than once...hoping I was ordering everything I needed the second time! This link even tells you to look at the yardguard website for more information....there is only a pdf instruction book...that is the EXACT same that came with the directions!?! The quality looks like it might be good...we can't return as we put the posts in already.... So beware when ordering online! It doesn't tell you that you need to buy all the pieces separately!! I am bummed as I bought this based on the great reviews!!!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rangerdog Thin walls-weak-structurally insufficient
Purchased these 1.75" inch posts to accommodate the YardGard Select double gate special ordered from Home Depot since readily available 2" steel posts will not work with the hinge hardware provided by the manufacturer. The posts were set 2' deep, perfectly straight and plumb, 100 pounds of concrete on each post, and set for 24 hours before loaded. The posts are too weak to support the gate weight they are designed to support. Both gates sag and are not level as a result of the defective posts. Furthermore, the sag of the gate makes the provided double gate latch inoperable. Now you have to lift on gate slightly so that the frame can clear the latch frame to open the gate. The gate is nicely built and perfect for the application. The accompanying posts, which you are stuck purchasing, for that specific gate (1.75") are worthless and do not serve the purpose intended. Do not purchase if you expect to have a double gate which is level and operates as designed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ron Fleur-de-lis De-Lis medallions for fence
I had to buy a fence for my 2 little dogs and I really liked the look of the fence. When I picked up the gate boxes they showed the fleur-de-lis medallions on them and loved the look so after the fence was complete I bought enough of the medallions so I had one in each section including the gates. I still love the look of the fence and am happy with the look with the medallions on it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by PoodleMom Product ok but now unavailable in store and price has nearly doubled!
I originally bought a couple sets of panels from our local store less then 3 months ago at about $55 a box to see if they would meet our needs for the dog area we wished to fence in. I was pleased enough and decided to go back to buy additional sets of panels and hardware etc only to find they had been moved to clearance at $20 a box, all were sold out in ever single store in the entire state, the product was no longer carried in stores and would now cost almost double per set than what I originally paid for it less than 3 months prior. If I would have know I never would have purchased as now I have panels that are useless and still will have to purchase chain link to do the job needed because I refuse to pay double because I do not feel they are good enough to carry that price tag. Very disappointed as I thought this would be a more attractive alternative to our containment needs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nick Best purchase ever with THD. Best Looking Fence Around!
I was looking for something a little nicer than normal black chain link fencing. I could not be any happier with my recent purchase of YardGard Select. The whole installation process went smoothly. I am a beginner when it comes to installing fencing systems, but the whole installation process went smoothly. The most difficult part of the job was digging the holes for each post. (Make sure you rent an auger). It will save A LOT of time. The instructions that came with the fence were well written with multiple diagrams to show examples. NOTE: It is very important that you get the length and height of each post at the desired measurement. It must be near perfect for the fence panels to fit and look the best. Also, the videos posted online at homedepot.com were useful as well. I installed over 200 feet of fencing in one weekend. The holes honestly took the most time. Once you have the posts set in concrete, the rest of the fence took only a few hours. I have received compliments from my neighbors on the color, quality, and durability of the fence. The fence also adjusted to the terrain of my yard (as you can see in pics). If you are looking for a fence and you don't want the normal (chain link), invest in YardGard Select. You will not regret it. Great, Great, GREAT fence!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Alex Dog-Pen
I bought this fence to build a dog-pen (32'x28') for an apartment complex. The fence is very easy to put together, but note that the mesh-fencing will only go the distance of two top-rails at a time. For example: we chose to put posts every 8 feet on the long side (4 8-foot sections making 32 feet long) and 12 feet on the short side (2 12-foot sections and a gate making 28 feet long). The fencing provided does not allow you to chain 4 sections of fence together to reach from one end of 32 feet to the other, you have to take the middle post and use it as a terminal post. (there are brackets designed to stick out from the terminal post, effectively reducing the distance the mesh-fencing needs to go by about an inch, thus if you chain four sections of fence together, it does not reach 32 feet, it reaches about 4 inches short of 32 feet, which is too short to connect to the brackets on that end.) So what I did to avert this problem was to put the brackets on the corners, and on the middle post and this worked fine. On the 28' side I broke the fencing into two 6-panel sections and terminated each section on the post in the middle (12' in) because likewise, 3 sections of fencing don't stretch quite enough to make the 24' length I needed.
Outside of that, my fence was on a slight slope, and it looked great I felt. The fencing steps with the slope and looks fantastic. The tension wire holds the fence together well - and indeed the fence is used to keep in small dogs, which the residents have praised highly. They love the new dog area, and it is working great for them.
With this fencing system we got a fence that looks great, is not expensive, and is very sturdy. It does not intrude on the visual environment, and it looks way better than Chain Link, while still being see-through (which was important to us for security and observation reasons).
Also, try to find a way to stand the gate up and test it before you cement it in, it's hard to measure for. Also, the hinges are a bit loose, so they let the gate hang down a little too much, we supplemented this by sticking a washer in the loose space of the bracket to tighten it up and keep it as close to upright as possible.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by bjordan More Parts Necessary
Unless you want to build a small triangle fenced area, you will need to buy more parts and accessories. I'm glad I took all the parts and attempted to put them together and get an idea what I have or needed. Come to find out the end caps are separate, you need to buy the accessory kit in order to put the fencing to the posts and that you still need a tension wire. To finish it off. I'm spending roughly around $400-$500 for everything. I might as well hired someone to build it for me. I'm guessing this is why Home Depot put these products on clearance.

Posts are nice, but there were no caps for the top of the posts. That was a let down.
