Even in high snow and ruff Chicago winters, it performs like a champ. Does not consume too much fuel. The oil safety shutoff protects the engine from damage due to low oil levels--excellent feature. I thought I would need a two stage blower, but this guy more than does the job!
Pull start works great. Starts on the first pull every time.

Hard to start
Virtually no power
This blower is by far the worst piece of equipment I've ever used. Not only is it hard to start, it has no snow moving power and stalls constantly even when used in a couple of inches of light powdery snow.
On top of that, mine blew a head gasket after less than 20 hours of light use.
Spent a few dollars more and get a better product. I wish I had.

Had mine for two years works perfect easy to assemble a little hard to use on wet snow but just go slow and it will do the job just fine. My neighbor saw me using mine I gave him mine for 20 minutes he was done and went to order the same one for him online

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Received a returned oil-leaking broken Blower w/missing parts.
Bought this as a gift and had it delivered to my son-in-law. Upon opening it, he found a cracked housing, oil leaking and missing parts. Obviously, it was a returned blower that was just left as is. They re-sealed the box and shipped it out. Embarrassing for me and a black eye for Home Depot.

Seems poorly designed and manufactured. Manual difficult to read (no clear diagrams) - wheels are not well made, overall a very cheap snow blower, get something else.

Have had mine at least 10 years and it works great. It does get clogged every so often, but its easily cleared. It was hard to start from time to time, so I move it inside for 15 minutes beforehand and it starts just fine.
