Answer:
Yes, For the most part. There was just one thing I had difficult with. And that was the handal was pushed down into the blade area. And looks like it's all ready but you need to pull up on both sides of the bars (Handal) to lock it into place.

Answer:
My store does not, and having worked at Home Depot in the past, they have not done this either. What you may want to consider is a Home Depot credit card. If you spend $249 or more, it's interest-free for 6 months, so in essence you can do lay-away, but use your mower immediately.

You just don't use the bag. The deck only has an output into the bag. Otherwise it mulches as it cuts.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 164 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Impressions - Very positive! Bought this 3 weeks ago for light mowing in a couple areas where the rider wont go. Used it twice & both times it cut great. Assembly is not an issue at all. The mower came almost completely assembled. Just had to connect the handle and a few things. After installing the oil (came with mower..thanks) it started right up. Its lightweight and easy to maneuver. Self propelled feature works well. I took it up inclines with ease. Plenty of height adjustment. For an entry level self propelled mower this is well engineered. Given you don't expect to ask too much it, I've no problem recommending this one. Thanks HD. Good job on this one! June 21, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good It is easy to start. I have only had the mower about a month. I was a little disappointed because I had owned a Briggs and Stratton mower before - it just now died. This new model is pretty much a lot of plastic versus metal. It was easy to assemble. I chose the least expensive model so that explains the lower quality. It has difficulty cutting through thick grass. But is fine for moderate grass growth. It has trouble navigating slopes - I have to push it a little to get it up a small slope. But for the price it is o.k. July 12, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing We purchased this mower from Home Depot in February 2016 and didn't unpack or use it until April 2016. Instructions were followed to a "t" and it has been very well handled/cared for since we've had it. Last week I noticed oil all over our garage floor. Since we are past the 90 days Home Depot asked me to call Briggs & Stratton directly. I am HOPING to get it exchanged for a new mower since there is no reason why it should be leaking oil!! Other than this issue the mower works fine. The bagger is a little difficult to take off when full and it is pretty small. If B & S will honor their 2yr warranty we would still recommend this mower overall. If they do not honor the warranty and replace or refund our money, we would not! Will try to post an update once we know which way this will go... July 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only lasted 16 months When I first got this mower, it worked great. Every now and then it would hiccup, but it continued to work great. Now recently it will run for about 3 to 4 minutes, then quit. When you restart it, it'll run for about 3 to 4 seconds and then quit again. I keep it filled with fresh gas and check the oil often, so I know that is not the problem. July 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good It was very easy to assemble and I have only used it once but it has been a good purchase so far. July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Totally worth it Very user friendly product wish I had bought it years ago! July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I love the POWER! I had an electric mower that I inherited. This is the first power mower I have personally owned and used. It works great, although it does not necessarily start on the first pull. Maybe it is operator error. If I have mowed the back yard, I generally have to let it sit for 15 minutes or so before it will start right back up. We have had alot of rain lately, so I have been mowing tall, damp grass. I am, however, amazed at how much faster it is to mow with a gasoline mower. I now have time for weed eating and pulling weeds in my garden. I finish mowing in less than half the time with a gasoline engine. I'd say this was a great product for a female to use. Yeah!!! June 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible I bought this lawnmower 2 1/2 months ago. It is now blowing white smoke....must be a problem with the rings or something. Very poor quality. July 10, 2016
