Easy to setup and start mowing. I put gas and oil (oil included) in the mower and it started with the first pull. Has been popping right off on the first pull every time. Very easy to adjust mowing height with just two levers. Has quick connections for side discharge or bagging capabilities. Also can be used for mulching with ease. Only thing was putting the bagger together, tough stretching the seals over the frame. Other than that I would recommend this mower with the durable Briggs and Stratton engine anytime. Did I mention the power? Well plenty of that too!

I have owned this mower for over a year now and I am still impressed every time I use it. It starts every time on the first pull, except for the first mow of the second summer. It was sitting in the garage all winter and it took two pulls. I live in Oregon and the grass is frequently wet. It doesn't care. I tend to skip mowing the yard on some weekend so my grass tends to get tall when I mow. It doesn't care. The only time I heard the engine bogged down was when I hit a two by four that was in the grass. It was a foot long before I ran over it. It came out the the bottom of the mower in nothing over three in inches. The only downside is you may get a little tired pushing this beast around. But it is extremely reliable, it can take a beating, and it is a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mike Powerful and simple lawnmower that gets more done on a single tank
I bought this 2014 Yard Machine model to replace my old 2009 Yard Machine mower. I like the new mower is 6.75 lb feet of torque vs 5 lb feet of torque of the old one. You can certainly tell the difference when dealing with tall grass.
The old 2009 Yard Machine was actually still working, however in my carelessness, I hit a huge piece of slate that worked its way up after the spring thaw. That rock exploded, and a chunk of it broke the metal around the motor mount causing the engine to shake from being loose, and the shaking engine caused a second motor mount to crack away from the deck.
I picked up this new 2014 Yard Machine model, after my experience with the last mower. I picked this one up from my local Home Depot. Oddly, HD's website states this is only for sale online, but my local store had at least 7 of these (same model number, 2014 model).
Assembly was fairly easy. Take out of box, adjust the handle, attach the pull cord to the handle, add some oil and gasoline, attach the bag, and go... This mower started on the first pull, and with a full tank of fuel - I mowed a full acre of grass on a single tank. At least 1/4 acre of it was at least 6 inches high, and the mower never bogged down like my old one would. With the '09 model, it would take me two refills to complete the same amount that I did on a single tank with this new mower.
This is a push mower, that does not have a transmission or any other complex feature. You're getting a very lightweight mower with a very powerful engine. The new wheel design makes it a lot easier to adjust the height of the mower (one adjustment for front and one for the rear), where the old design had adjustments one each wheel that required significant amounts of force to adjust
I was pretty upset to have to spend the money to replace the old Yard Machine, but after doing an entire acre of hilly lawn, I was less tired because this mower is a lot lighter than their older models, I was able to run through without needing to stop twice to refuel, and it never once bogged down. I like that is has no special features like drive wheels, or other silly features. There is less stuff to break on this mower, and it is a very lightweight powerful mover.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by lawncareintexas Great machine so far!!!!
Ive used this little lawnmower for about 10 months on flat terrain and it worked fine, I then used it on a lawn that was slightly wet, with slope and somewhat high grass and it cut like a charm. I then used it on a lawn with very high and slightly damp grass, and leaves, and it powered right thru, albeit, I had to get creative with my technique, it still powered thru......I was impressed!!! Want to buy another but theyre sold out online....I guess Ill try amazon.
