Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Grammy The mower was easy to assemble & works great.
I thought for the price it was a great value. The assembly was a little tricky because the pull rope was packaged in side housing. I had to remove the housing to get the pull rope free. I like it doesn't have a priming button feature. The bagger is not perfect. When I removed it clippings got hung up at mower exit and spilled on the ground. I would recommend buying this mower for the on-line price. My last mower lasted 15 yrs I hope this one will last as long.

My yard has only a small amount of grass (takes less than 5 minutes to cut and trim). I did not want to spend a lot, or need a lot of features. Set up was easy and it starts with the first pull, every time. The grass catcher is serviceable, with the only negative being the closure between the mower and the bag tends to fill with cut grass, requiring you to scoop the grass out by hand. It's only a small amount, and something I can live with. Quite happy with this purchase.

I have owned several brands of mowers. Some very expensive. This is the cheapest and best mower I have ever owned. The others could never take the beating that I have given The Yard Machine brand. The first one I ever owned was when it was called Mardman. Always starts up fast, even after sitting all winter. One I owned didn't have any shelter all winter. First pull it started. I have always felt I got more than I paid for. Not fancy but the best.

Motor runs at one speed...slow. The slightest heavy grass and it bogs down.
Grass shute is 6 by 6 inches and clogs up extremely fast. It takes an hour for me to cut a lawn that used to take 15 minutes. I will be returning this one. Had an older one...grass shute was as wide as the mower and didn't clog until the bag was full.
I do like the start...one pull every time so far.

This is a great little lawnmower for the money. There's no place to rev the engine up though, if you needed to. Also, it doesn't take long to fill up the grass catcher and it gets hard to push and heavy. There's also no way to have it blow out the side. You could take the grass catcher off, of course, but then it would blow right on your feet. I should have thought it through better for what I wanted it for.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Izzy Better than the more expencive ones
This mower is not the best quality but it will out perform the self propelled ones. Its light and strong. Don't know how long it will last but so far so good.I've only used it twice...the other one i tried out bogged out to much, i only used that one once before i returned it.

I have only one problem with this product. When I mow the lawn the stuff blows into my face because of gap between mower and catch bag. Otherwise very satisfied. Never had a mower where didn't have to put it on sidewalk to start. This starts right up anywhere.
