Mine was 1 inch. What did you buy since you asked this question a year ago? It would be funny if you went to the store and bought it, found the answer but did not post it here.

I hope it will keep the baby rabbits from getting in and eating my veggies. The momma rabbit was just sitting there watching me install it. I think she knows I'm pretty determined to keep her and her family out. On the other hand she might have been laughing at me. The fence was well constructed and did not unravel where I cut it. The roll of fencing comes with wire wraped around it to hold the roll tight. Save this wire, it is useful to attach the fence to the fence pole. Also, wear safety glasses when handling the fence, it had a tendency to spring back when you don't expect it to.

The netting -- I call fencing -- is nice and sturdy, yet pliable enough that I was able to make circular towers to keep the rabbits out. Works great, no rabbits, plants are flourishing. You get a lot of product (length) for the money.

Allows the pollinators through but not the birds. It may be overkill but in the long run it is cheaper than the flimsy plastic netting.
