Z-Flex Aluminum Chimney Liner Kits come complete with everything you need to quickly and easily install a professional venting system. Z-Flex liner is manufactured by using a dead soft aluminum strip which is spirally wound and mechanically joined together forming an air-tight and leak-proof Triple-Lock seam. Z-Flex's specially designed deep corrugations provide for greater flexibility and ease of installation. The result is a clearly superior product offering incredible longevity.

No you can not use aluminum to vent wood as the exhaust temperatures are to high. You must use an approved stainless steel product. Further most systems require that you then use a thermal sleeve around the product to insure the flue gas remains hot and buoyant. Further most systems require that you then use a thermal sleeve around the product to insure the flue gas remains hot and buoyant. Further many municipalities further require that you back fill the space between the liner and the chimney with certain materiel such as a vermiculite product, again to make sure the flue gas does not cool down and stop rising. I would consult the inspector or code enforcement person in your area to see what they require. Read Less
