CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No measuring and no mess The Zep 12 Oz SEPTI-PAK Concentrated Septic System Treatment package contains a 6 month supply of preventative maintenace for your septic tank. After years of using another popular brand where I had to measure out the powder or liquid every month and then clean up the spills or messes, I was introduced to this Zep product that simplifies the monthly septic treatment procedure. All you have to do is drop a wrapped pouch into the toilet once a month, wait a few minutes for it to dissolve and flush. Done....simple...no measuring...no mess! Each pouch contains the amount needed for up to a 1,500 gal septic tank. Furthermore, it is cheaper than the other brand I was using. Always nice to save money! If you have a hard time remembering when to treat your septic, Zep will even send you an email reminder once a month! Just go to zepcommercial.com and sign up. Great product! March 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stuff Easy to use, Just drop a pack in te toilet and flush after it dissolves. May 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Try this instead of the high priced products! For years I used a popular brand of septic tank treatment commonly sold at the grocery and discount stores. I started having septic tank problems 2 years ago and tried a very expensive, over $500, septic tank treatment kit/system from a bio-engineering company. End result, it didn't work. I had the septic tank pumped/cleaned and some of the problems continued. Then, I started using this product on a monthly basis over a year ago. All of the problems I had, cleared up, and have remained so.I continue to use this product on a monthly basis to maintain a healthy septic system. I use several different Zep products in my home that I buy at Home Depot and have found them all comfortably priced, great quality, and excellent results. I expected the same results from this product and so far it has met my expectations. You simply flush one packet per month for a septic tank up to 1,500 gals. No fuss, no mess! Just drop one in the toilet bowl, let it dissolve, (the pack dissolves quickly), and flush. This product contains specially blended enzyme-producing bacteria that help digest household waste, reduces sludge build up in septic tanks and field lines. Digests paper, oils, grease, stops unpleasant odors, and prevents clogs. Ingredients listed on package:Rice Hulls, Dextrose, Salt, Yeast, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Polydimethylsiloxane, Nonionic surfactant, Bacteria cultures. Made in the USA. Distributed by Zep Products/Sales, Atlanta, Ga. September 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy To Use Septic Treatment Tried the Septi-Pak Concentrated Septic System Treatment and is really easy to use. Put in toilet, let it sit for a few minutes so that the bag can dissolve, flush, and in my case flush again. The treatment is supposed to last for 30 days for septic tanks up to 1500 gallons. The packaging has all kinds of warnings, just like any chemical product. The only down side to this product is the lack of the active ingredients on the packaging, which is something that I would have liked to have seen. The pictures show the sequence of the entire operation. July 28, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No muss no fuss Pacakge comes with 6 packets. Packet is completely enclosed so there is nothing to get on your hands when you drop it into the toilet. You don't have to wear gloves. I dropped it in to my toilet and walked away. I don't remember how long before I came back but I couldn't see anything when i did so it must dissolve fast and completely. Not sure why you have to use one every month but if it works it seems like an inexpensive way to maintain your septic system. October 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick and easy This is the best, quick, easy, no dust blow back. Just drop the packet in and let it dissolve then flush. Leaves no residue in toilet like some brands. The two month supply keeps a packet on hand at all times. I would recommend tis product to anyone with a septic tank, I would recommend most Zeb products. They are worth the extra money. Just use as directed. August 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The brand name "ZEP" has never let me down yet! I use this product regularly and have never had a septic issue. It's preventative maintenance is a little flushable pouch. Although; I found that letting the package dissolve for 4-5 minutes, and then flushing 2-3 times works best for me. December 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very convenient without any mess I really like not have to pour septic treatment into the toilet, and these dissolvable packs make it very convenient. I no longer have to measure from a box, and spill on the floor, or end up paying more just to buy one treatment at a time in a box. Very happy. November 4, 2013
