This stuff worked wonders on my grill. I haven't been the best at cleaning my grill on a regular basis, usually just a quick scrub with a wire brush in-between grillings.
i applied this the grates and sides of the grill and let it sit for about 10 minutes. As I was wiping the grill out after. the amount of grease it cut through and that I removed was both amazing and gross.
after I cleaned the insides out I rinsed out the grill a second time and lit the grill to burn off anything that may have been missed.
All in all a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by vicguyMN better than expected
Ok, so I have had my grill for 2 years and haven't really ever "cleaned" it. sure, i brush the racks each time i use it but thats about it. Figured it was about time so I bought the zep heavy duty stuff. not reading the directions (like most guys) I pulled the racks out and sprayed them down. It did a pretty good job - not perfect but better than I expected. Next time I will "preheat" them and see if it does even better. The racks came out with very little stuff on them

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Syllinx Works well when cleaning shower.
My shower was almost destroyed by all the grease I had on me from working on vehicles. I coated shower walls and floor in this stuff and with just a little work shower is looking like it was just installed.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Larry Cleaner performed well to cut the burned on grease.
I used the Zep Heavy-Duty Oven & Grill Cleaner on my outdoor DCS grill components. I did not heat the grate, the underside of the grill lid or the ceramic radiant tubes before using the spray cleaner. The cleaner cut the grease and the made it easy to remove the baked on grease and food. If the grill is exceptionally dirty two applications of the Zep cleaner is required. The grill manufacturer recommends that these parts be cleaned after every use which may not always be possible. I recommend that this product be only used outside or in a well-ventilated area.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by grandpagriller my expectations were perhaps too high
With an A+ product rating from Good Housekeeping, my expectations were high that my 7-year old stainless steel Weber cooking grates would come out mostly shiny and with minimal remaining cooked-on black spots. The product did do a reasonable job of softening much of the crusty black stuff, but a lot of blackness remained. Overall performance not much different that my previous cleaning method of soaking the grates in a strong (i.e. make your eyes water) ammonia solution for several days. You also have to pay close attention to the directions that say "hold can upright". I attempted to spray my grates laid out on a flat surface with the can tipped a little, and it sputtered and hissed with very little of the "foam" I expected appearing on the grates. I then manually held the grates (and the can) vertically, and the nice foam I expected appeared. Bottom line: If this is an A+ product, I wouldn't bother trying anything lesser and stick with the ammonia soak. I'll probably use it again, but won't buy more when this can is empty.
