CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cleans like a snap, with nice scent! Zep has been known for their success in industrial-strength cleaners, and this one has that reputation covered! Anyone who has done peel-and-stick tiles knows the gooey residue that can be left by some of those tiles. Well, enter Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus cleaner; it cleaned up that goo using just paper towels! Ni hard scrubbing, just spray on, wait a minute or two, then wipe that bad goo away! I also use it to clean off my table-saw top and bandsaw table, too. It cut through the sap from the pine very quickly. I plan to try it to clean my saw blades, also. It sure makes an ideal substitute from caustic cleaners that I sometimes have to use! The nice pleasant scent of orange is reminiscent of peeling an orange, so no nasty cleaner odors, either! This seems like a winner all the way! Just check out my before and after photos below! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yep to Zep: It Cut the Crud I used Zep Heavy Duty Citrus Degreaser on three things: my old stove, a large plastic storage crate, and the flooring on my porch. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a 'before' picture of my stove, but I did get before-and-after photos of the crate and floor. I think the pictures speak for themselves! On my stove, old stains that I thought were permanent were removed when I sprayed the Zep Degreaser, allowed it to work, and then scrubbed. The same thing happened with the crate and the floor. I simply sprayed the object, let the liquid work, and then cleaned it up with a wet rag. Voila! I was impressed with the difference. A very good product with a pleasant scent and powerful cleaning ability. September 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No more grease This product worked very well for me. I used it to clean my chainsaw and it removed all of the oil and pine pitch that had accumulated. I also used it on my bicycle frame around the chain, which had become caked with dirt chain oil. Again, it effectively removed the grease and left a nice finish. I liked the cleaner and plan to use it on my grill next. May 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by For oily cleaning This product, while is not really good for general cleaning, works great on those oily spills and oily dirt. Or for anything that is greasy or petroleum-based, like removing sticker residue. The trigger has both a Spray and a Stream setting to allow varied application. When you go to wipe it off, I find its best to use a damp/wet cloth so the surface gets rinsed well with water. For tough sticky stuff, multiple applications might be necessary. Follow the directions and you will be fine. January 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works better than other products I tried this product on a few greasy spots in the kitchen that I have used other products on in the past, and I am quite impressed with the results. One of the tests was on a ceramic sink bowl that still had the sticky price tag residue. That needed a bit more scrubbing, but it did come off. Definitely letting the product work for a few minutes before wiping off helps. May 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It does the job I am always on the lookout for a non-toxic way to clean the pitch and sawdust residue from my table saw blades and router bits. There are a lot of specialty products for this, but most are really toxic and all are very expensive. I have been using a simple organic based degreaser from home depot with OK results. It left a lot more residue than I would like and required a lot of rinsing. The Zep cleaner is going to be my new choice. While I noticed it wasn't quite as effective (more scrubbing required), it still did the job quite well. The real benefit for me was the fact I was able to clean the residue off quickly without a few soakings in water. This is a good trade off for the minor amount of additional elbow grease. My wife has actually been using this around the house as well. It's a great product with a lot of uses, and the nice citrus scent is a bonus. February 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by powerful stuff This degreaser isn't particularly harsh on skin, and doesn't irritate my lungs like some do, but seems to do a good job cutting bicycle lubricants and grease without damaging paint. December 6, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good but not great! I actually brought this product because it says it would remove adhesive!. I was in the process of cleaning my concrete basement floor so that I could epoxy/stain. I had been using Goo Gone but wanted to give this a try. I found that it does not remove the adhesive as quickly and thoroughly as Goo Gone did. Since I still needed a degreaser, I used the Goo Gone to remove the adhesive and used Zep to do an overall cleansing of the concrete once the adhesive was gone. For that part, it was great!. Would still recommend Zep but not as an adhesive remember! January 30, 2015
