Answer:
Zep Calcium, Lime and Rust Stain Remover is an acid based product and is not recommended for use on vinyl as damage may occur. Instead, we would recommend our House & Siding Pressure Wash Concentrate to clean vinyl siding.

Answer:
In my opinion 100% safe. I have brushed nickel in my bathrooms and use this regularly. Since Brushed Nickel is the "scratching" done to nickel plated metal and then the clear coat is applied or the nickel is bare, this product will clean all. I find it much better than the "name brand" products in the grocery or discount stores.

Zep Calcium, Lime & Rust Stain Remover is a cosmetic surface cleaner. We do not recommend using where the effects of the product can not be observed during use.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome product! I had rust stains all the way down my house from a rusty drip tray under my AC unit. I live in a two story home so it looked pretty bad. It was there for over 3 years - and before we moved in. I decided to give this a try after reading some reviews. It worked GREAT on the stucco. You will need big rubber gloves, goggles, a good scrub brush, a heavy duty squirt bottle, and a hose. I was shocked how quickly it worked when I started to use the scrub brush! My wall looks beautiful! I highly recommend! August 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Many Uses Works as well as the more expensive CLR. Cleans rust from tools, soap buildup on shower doors. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We had the gross-est toilets EVER- NO MORE!! We have a two bathroom home, well/septic in the country. I'm not sure what our deposits are from, but our toilets were a horrible, scummy mess. Thick brown water deposits made our bathrooms frightening. Two non-diluted rounds of this stuff in the toilets (10 min each) and scrubbing carefully with a hard plastic brush (and goggles/gloves) made our toilet bowls almost new again. Best $5 I have ever spent on a harsh chemical- did its job very well. July 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Fast Calcuim, Line and Rust Stain Remover Had a couple of jobs to remove calcium depots, line scale and rust from the kitchen facet. It work really fast and removed all the depots, scale and stains off the stainless Steel faucet. You should use glove since it has some harmful chemicals For the use on porcelain tubs, sinks, toilets, cement stucco, glass, fiberglass. This cleaner is not for use on wood, fabric, natural stone, aluminum, brass, chrome or painted surfaces. The product contains urea hydro chloride, glycolic and surfamic acids.. November 28, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I thought We were told it would remove rust stains from our sidewalks and driveway, but it did not. We tried Goof Off and that product worked great and it was less expensive. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Without a doubt the best cleaning product for calcium/lime/rust that I have ever used!!! We have very hard water in our area and I am constantly cleaning the hard water deposits from our bathroom sinks, kitchen sinks and other areas in our home. I have been using another popular cleaning product for years and it did a good job, but I would always spend a considerable amount of time soaking and scrubbing to get the hard water deposits off...and some of them I have never been able to get completely clean. While at Home Depot recently, I went to pick up a bottle of the same product that I have been using when I noticed the Zep brand. The Zep brand was almost $2 dollars less than the other brand so I initially thought to myself that it must not be as good as the other brand because it was cheaper. For some reason, I decide to give the Zep brand a try. When I got home the first area I tried to clean was the bathroom sinks in our master bathroom. The hard water deposits had gotten so bad that I could not unscrew the ring at the bottom of the spout to get to the filter screen. I had tried numerous times scrubbing with the other brand, but was never able to get it completely off. I took a small amount of the Zep product and put it on a toothbrush and started scrubbing, I could not believe how fast the deposit was coming off with just a little scrubbing. I ended up taking a plastic cup that I had cut about 3/4 off the top and then strapped it to the faucet so I could pour enough Zep into the cup so the area could soak. I figured I might have to leave it overnight with how bad the deposit was on the faucet, but I checked on it about 15 minutes later and I couldn't believe it but all of the hard water deposit was gone. All I had to do was take a wet rag and wipe it clean. I was amazed at how fast this product worked. I have used it on several other items in my house that I had given up on because the other product I was using had never taken enough off that i thought it might be able to get it completely off with more scrubbing. A neighbor of mine stopped by my house the day that I cleaned my bathroom sinks and I asked him if he had the same problem with hard water deposits. He said all of their faucets were just like mine. I gave him some of my Zep cleaner and told him to give it a try. He called me later that evening to tell me how amazing the Zep product was. It took off all of his hard water deposits just like mine. I will definitely recommend this product without a doubt...it is amazing!! May 11, 2016
