Bought this when we bought our new laminate flooring. Seemed to work great once floor was down to give it a good cleaning, so I decided it also use it on my hardwood floor and laminate floors upstairs. Oh my 4 weeks later and I'm still trying to get the film it left on all my floors off!! I've tried everything, I am so frustrated I could cry! Don't know what else to do!!! Worst product I've ever, ever used!! Do not waste your money!!!!!

Wish I'd have read some of these reviews before I used it. I just bought a house with new laminate flooring. I followed the Zep instructions to the letter and my floors came out streaked and dull. Used a vinegar / hot water mixture and a lot of elbow grease to get it off. Now, they're shining again. Since some people are saying it works great, I would guess results depend on the brand of flooring. Why take the chance.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Garwatt The stuff works for me
I read all the complaints. Yes, I got a dull floor, I got a film, I got foot prints. I was disappointed. Then I got up the next morning the floor seemed to need a 12 - 14hr drying or curing time. I have improved shine and the film was gone. It also did not leave foot prints or smudges. Now, I know it works. You just cannot walk on it for a whole day.

I have 1 yr old laminate flooring (matt finish) and this product is truly great in removing water spots and foot prints from damp foot wear. The secret is not to apply to much. I se a sponge mop wrapped with a cotton towel and after spraying simply move mop over area without any real pressure.
What is really nice about the product is it dry's almost at once.

I have laminate, low gloss (Matt finish) floors along with a large dog who slobbers. This product is perfect for cleaning up water spots as well as scuff marks. It dries very quickly and leaves no residue of which I am aware.
I have used this product for over 5 yrs and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an effective and reasonably priced wood/laminate floor cleaner.
One puzzling thing is the Home depot pricing on this item. One 128 oz bottle costs $10.99 while a case of 4 128 oz bottles cost $50.00 ($49.97 to be exact) which comes out to $12.50 per bottle or $1.51 More than the single bottle purchase.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mary Dull, streaky finish on my NEW laminate floors!
The floor installer, Installer supervisor and project manager for our whole-house flooring job recommended ZEP from Home Depot for our Quick Step brand laminate floors. I used it for the first time, today. I Followed the instructions, carefully, and to my dismay, the floors were left with a dull, streaky, blotchy appearance. I am so disappointed. I really hope that the finish is not ruined. Not sure what to do.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Maui Zep dulling floors
When I first starting using Zep I thought it was great. Floors were clean and shiny. After continued use in the most used areas of the house, my floors are now dull and sticky. In the hallways, were there's not much foot traffic, and I used the product infrequently, the floors and smooth and shiny. Now I have a 2000 sq foot house of dull, dirty looking, sticky floors. Disappointed and frustrated now as I don't know how to get the dullness and stickiness off the floor.
