One thin coat leaves a good shine, four coats if you have the time to wait for each coat to dry [total time is 45 minutes per coat].
Here's what I discovered when comparing against Armstrong Shinekeeper Resilient polish:
- Armstrong sells for $9 to $15 @ 32 oz.
- Much better deal buying a gallon of ZEP for under $15
- Color is a thin milky white for BOTH
- Looks the same, smells the same, applies the same, dry time is the same
- Finish appearance is the same
- Lasting duration is about the same, if not the same
Nuff said, another winner from ZEP, I highly recommend.

I work for a school so I have experience stripping and waxing. I was a little skeptical about this product but I figured I would give it a try. After I put on a few coats, I am very satisfied. It made the floor look better after 1 coat, but I went ahead and did the suggested 4 coats. I am using this on a floor that was installed in 1956 (asphalt tiles in a basement) They've had no care since then aside from sporadic moppings and I'm telling you, it's really brought the floor back to life. Be sure to follow all instructions- use a Rayon mop, and if the floor was previously waxed, start with a stripper, but most importantly, make certain the floor is as clean as possible. Store the mop in a black garbage bag tied up in between coats. When you're finished, you can store the mop in the same bag tied up real tight, then bag it again and tie it up. We do this as the school all the time and the mop will be good forever. Change the bags each time you apply wax (yearly). Lastly, I'm not sure why they advise against the use of a fan. The only thing I can think of is it would dry some parts quicker than others. I wait about 10 or 15 minutes, then put a fan on low. Use clean shoes between coats or Better yet, socks only (just be careful not to step in it when applying. As far as applying goes, I use an old laundry soap bottle and drill 3 holes in the cap. You can then pour a strip right on the floor and spread it out uniformly. You'll get the feel of how much you need. Apply from side to side and once you cover the area, go over it once more from side to side to ensure a uniform coat.

I am using this product on my RV with fiberglass walls, on recommendation of an other RV owner, and am well pleased with ease of application. It really improves the appearance of the RV by bringing back the color and shine of the fiberglass walls. The RV also has wood floors and plan to use it inside as well.

We are a church and have stained concrete floors in our worship area. We have been using this product for about a year now and it has worked well for us. It is easy to put on and holds up well for the amount of floor traffic it receives.

Well I'm a clean freak and likes everything to look new even if it's years old. I had a vinyl type flooring install about 3 year ago, which surprisingly looks like a wood floor. I was using another popular brand floor finish, which only came in 32oz and cost between $5.96 to $9.99 depending on the store. I would have to purchased 4 bottles each time to using a little over 3 bottles each time I do the floor. I just happen to see this product while searching for the other product while shopping in Home Depot. Well I'm so glad the other product had been sold out and decided for the price and the content amount to purchase this item. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product. The directions states approximated drying time of 30 minutes for me about 20 minutes without a fan, however if you apply in small areas using a fan on low within 15 minutes " YES A BEAUTIFUL SHINE". Also for the cost/contents I have gotten so for 4 complete floor shines and still have enough to do another floor shining. Also my family although I fuss and fuss asking them to remove their shoes upon entering the house with no success, my floor remains with a high shine. Last but not lease when others except for family immediately being to remove their shoes, commenting on such a beautiful hardwood floor remember it's a vinyl floor. Pleased by this product.
