I have very long hair and I have a fluffy cat and dog as well. Let me tell you, we can clog a shower drain like nobody's business. I was constantly standing in ankle deep water in my tub.
I saw this was made especially for hair clogs and thought I would give it a try. After only two applications, my troublesome shower drain was draining freely. This is impressive because I am always struggling with drain hair clogs constantly.
I was very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone draining problems due to hair or fur. I will definitely keep some on hand. It is a good bargain.

This is another quality product from Zep. Used it on a bathroom sink/drain that I'm certain was clogged by hair. While the product is more of a liquid than a gel, it seemed to work just as described, clearing the clog in about 10 minutes. Simply poured the prescribed amount down the drain, waited for 10 minutes to elapse, then ran hot water down the drain. Problem solved!

The bottle was delivered well packaged with no spill in sight. Directions are labeled on the bottle and are very easy to follow. Just pour quarter bottle, wait for 10 minutes and then rinse with hot water. It is safe for PVC pipes so no worries on pipe damage.
It took about 2 years for my tub to get where it was, I am talking about total traffic jam. After every shower, the water would take about 20 minutes to completely drain from the tub. While in shower, the soapy water would rise up to 4 inches by the time shower was done. I used this liquid and put the first quarter to test. Nothing happened, poured the 2nd quarter, things improved and by the time I used 3rd quarter, it cleaned everything and water started flowing like it used to be when new.
There is no question that my tub was heavily clogged and this liquid definitely cleared the mess. I am happy with its performance and recommend it for tough clogs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by johnv Works great on tough clogs
I used this product on a bath tub drain that had really slowed down. I poured about a quarter of the bottle down the drain and waited fifteen minutes just to be very sure. I flushed the drain with very hot water. I have not had any problems with the water flow since. This product worked great. I would recommend it for tubs or sinks with clogs in them.

It does exactly what it says. I got this to get rid of a slow drain. I knew what the issue was -- hair. I used this in the tub and shower as per the directions and it got the hair out pretty easy. All you do is apply it with the slow drain, then flush it later on. It worked for me. I use this every couple of months. It beats snaking your pipes since it is not too harsh of a product and will save you plumber fees.

It did not work at all. Actually it made it worse as some point out. Do not waste your time by trying this.

I used it that night and it work just as stated on the bottle. Hair from shaving builds up in my sink and I need to use it about twice a year to keep my sink running free.
