Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Re: Reccomended by.... Stetto, I almost fell into the same trap as BigMikefromVegas. I searched for "chlorine tablets" for my aerobic system and this item popped up. My septic system must be like BigMike's in that chlorine tablets are placed in a completely separate (from the main septic tank) Clarifier Chamber. I found these were not the chlorine tablets I needed when I read the package in the store. However, I purchased the product anyway to replace the other product I'd been using and I'm very pleased with the product. I still have to drive further to get the septic tank chlorine tablets I was hoping to buy at Home Depot. May 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product is not suitable for direct placement in aerobic septic tanks in place of chlorine tablets The product description lead me to believe it was suitable for aerobic septic systems, the only kind allowed for new construction in Fort Bend County, TX. These are bacteria tablets to be flushed down the toilet, NOT CHLORINE TABLETS which MUST be used in aerobic septic systems to disinfect the water prior to spraying on the lawn. Totally wrong product, but impossible to discern from the description online. Had to send it back, PLUS they don't carry the chlorine tablets needed! January 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended by septic pump professional This product is the strongest a consumer can buy without a license. Been using the "RID.." brand for years and had tank pumped yesterday and the guy said that I was wasting my money. Told me this is the best that a consumer can buy. A little more expensive but if it prolongs the $200 spent to pump out tank then I'm all for it. Don't know where other reviewer got info on being chlorine, doesn't say anything about that and says to flush down toilet. February 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Simpler way to treat septic tanks I was used to pouring a box of powder down the toilet a few times a year in an attempt to keep my septic tank in good repair. Decided to try these tablets and I like them better than the powder. Do they work as well? I'm not sure but the instructions say there are over a billion organisms in each tablet. It takes up less room to store them and to use simply drop in toilet bowl, wait for it to fizz up and then flush it down. June 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use, and no mess I like not having to flush three or for times to get the product down the pipes, as I did when I used the pouches. This goes down with one flush, and you can see that the product has dissolved in a couple of minutes when it stops fizzing. I also like that it stays in a sealed package until it is opened. Pouches can puncture easily, so I will not be using those anymore. Boxes that must be poured are not good at all, as they can spill. I like this and will get more when I run out. June 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy way to treat septic system Very easy system. Just plop a tablet into the toilet and it fizzes up in 1 minute, then flush. No mess, no clumpy material. It does cost a little bit more per treatment but it is a worth it due to it easy application. May 22, 2015
