I ordered this mirror for a small basement guest bathroom. The vanity is tucked under the staircase so I had to come up with an alternative to a regular mirror over the vanity. I had a similar mirror before my remodel but it did not light up like this one does. I also like that you have the option of using batteries or using the enclosed plug. The mirror seems of very good quality and does not seem distorted even on the magnified side. I think it will be a good addition to the bath. The brushed nickel finish is just what I wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DanMan Great mirror - my wife loves it.
After watching my wife leaning over the sink for years to get very close to the mirror and then noticing that she really loved having a makeup mirror in hotel rooms it finally clicked. You can spend a small fortune on these mirrors but you needn't - this one is great! I had it installed on the wall in less than 10 minutes and you can use the supplied power cord or batteries - your choice, but you do have to supply the batteries yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RichD The product has great features, and the quality is very high for the price of the product.
The light was easy to install and seems to be of good quality. The LED lighting is quite bright, and well suited to the fixture. My wife uses it every day and has nothing but positive remarks about 10x mirror magnification. I must admit I was a little worried about the magnification being to great, but in hindsight I guess it would be difficult to do your make-up while wearing your glasses. I chose the AC adapter for my power connection (instead of the batteries). The AC adapter is for a receptacle, which made direct wiring to the existing bathroom lighting unit a challenge. I ended up adding a single receptacle in an inconspicuous location, to plug in the AC adapter into the existing light fixture. If you choose the battery installation, 3 or 4 "C" batteries were required for this installation (that information wasn't in the product description on the Home Depot site). One more thing I would like to add is to take note of the size of this fixture. At 10" in diameter plus the framing to carry the mirror, the unit may look bulky without having the right amount of area for installation. You'll have to make the make that assessment yourself, but my wife definitely loves the 10" diameter mirror size.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LCSTEV Great quality for price and what it's used for
We looked at other mirrors that are wired into the wall, but they were cost prohibitive (not including labor). Found this one to be perfect! Battery works well, and it even has a plug in case you want to go that route. We keep the plug stored in a drawer, and the batteries last quite awhile given it's not an everyday use item for us. Glad we didn't pay anymore.

Mirror is concave, very powerful magnifying image which is not needed, distorted image. SENT it back the day I received it.
