Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by When handled and installed correctly they are good. I am really kind of on the fence about the rating I want to give these. They are not cheap moulding by any means but they are also not to expensive like some others. OK I will just put it like this. You have to kind of be careful with these things. If you take your time, be careful with them and install them correctly they work and look great. I always use the track to lock them in place and use construction adhesive on to keep the edges from sticking up off the floor. What i will do before sitting them in the track is take a razor blade and bevel the bottom edges of the extrusion that goes into the tracks. It just makes pushing it into the track much easier. The track needs at least 1/8 - 3/16 inch clearance from the edges of the floor surfaces because when you push the molding into the track. The track flares out. If you do not leave room for the track to flare out you will not be able to push the molding into it. All ways use the tracks. I have seen people just put these down with shims and construction adhesive and they just wont stay put that way. If you are installing these on a floor with wood backer board then you can simply just screw the the metal track down to that with screws. If you are installing the track into concrete then you will need to get yourself a concrete bit to drill holes to install regular drywall anchors into the concrete and those are what you will secure the track to. Once the molding has been pushed into the track you will not be able to get it out. As pulling it out will only tear up the extruded part that goes into the track. So measure a bunch of times and do a rough lay out before installing them into the track. Also when you get ready to install them into the track, put a line of construction adhesive on the underside of the molding outer edges. This will keep the lips of the molding from sticking up away from the floor. As I said above when installed correctly they are great. These are not the best moldings but I have used them a lot because they are whats readily available so I know what I can and can not do to them and I have found the best way of installing them April 26, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Breaks to Easy I had to pull it back off and the T part broke right off. January 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced Product This T-moulding is made to be removable from mounting track, when I went to remove, the bottom T that goes into the channel separated from the top piece breaking off. Being that I live 50 miles from the nearest Home Depot I just made a bad purchase. Do not buy any laminate flooring accessories that have a metal track to mount them in. buy the ones with plastic mounting tracks. I thought that buying from home depot that I was getting a quality product. January 7, 2015
