Answer:
Hi Joe,
This cabinet opening is 13.5" X 23.5" so it would require some additional height. We do have another model that is similar and will work, model MM1026. The wall opening is 13.5" X 17.5" and that should work with just a couple of shims at the top and bottom. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Thank you for your question.

Answer:
the cabinet that I bought was special ordered but if you measure the outer overhang from the main box you should be able to figure it out from there - most of the time if you center the box in your opening it should work as long as the width is less than the 14"

Steel, but fairly thin and easy to drill through. I drilled my own holes in the sides to match the ones in my drywall.

The assembled depth is 4.5 inches. I need to know if the cabinet will fit a 4 inch deep wall opening. The current wall opening is 14W x 24H x 4D and I really do not want to make it any larger.

16 in. x 24 in. Frameless Mirrored Swing Door Recessed Medicine Cabinet is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable Upgrade This medicine cabinet was an affordable yet attractive upgrade to a bathroom in my 40-year-old condo. The first one arrived with a chip on the corner of the mirror, but I easily returned it to my local Home Depot location and they quickly delivered a new one to my home. Easy to install, although does not come with installation hardware. I especially appreciated the dimensions listed for the recessed area.

I replaced the old worn cabinet with this unit and couldn't be happier especially for the price. The cabinet is strong and the mirrored door has a pretty beveled edge that reflects multi-colored prisms in my washroom in certain light. When I remodel my other washroom I will purchase another one of these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Zenith Medicine Cabinets The Zenith medicine cabinets compared to other medium priced units is a good buy for the money. I purchased two cabinets and they were mounted within fifteen minutes. The only negative thing I have to say is that the manufacturer provides only two shelves, instead of three, which most people require. Seems odd, other people who have purchased this same item in the past have complained about this same thing in their reviews. It appears the manufacturer is ignoring the reviews and manipulating the marketing of these cabinets with two shelves to squeeze out additional bucks from consumers who end up purchasing a third shelf. Pretty naughty if you ask me.
