I used this shower rod for over 8 years and finally give up and replaced with a different band that build with real stainless steel with . This product's description said it is Rust-resistant but the truth is it began rust right after a few months of installed into our bathroom. Don't buy this product!

liked the design of the rod - lots of room in tub. However - shower hooks catch on joint and is really annoying. The rod has completely rusted - now have to replace. Thought this was a non-rust rod????

This product is very straight forward. Instructions are simple, and if FULLY READ, the installation is quick and painless. Included hardware is suitable. As a rule of thumb, I always use E-Z Ancor for anything remotely heavy that is affixed to the drywall, but that's just me. The included anchors are functionable, typical plastic drywall anchors everyone uses. Screws are the correct size and thread. Even has 4 Allen keys for the difference size set screws. Recommended installation height is fine, but can be moved to suit. Finished installation looks clean and neat. No worries at all about quality.

Absolutely the best curved shower rod I've found. I can't say enough about the build quality of this product as compared to the Unique Bath Products garbage or the overpriced Moen. The installation instructions are a bit on the difficult side to decipher but installation is a breeze once you figure the instructions out (and follow them EXACTLY), the brackets are rock-solid and I love the the use of the set screws to level the rod assembly. There WILL be 2 more of these in my house---

We remodeled our bathroom last August (2011), we started noticing rust spots on the rod around January. I am in the market for a new rod to completely replace the one that is there. I would not recommend this product to anyone, yes it looks good but you will be buying a new within a few months. I have a friend that purchased one from another store (BB&B); has had the rod up for over 3yrs without not one single sign of rust. I will purchasing one of those instead.

Got this on clearance for $9.99. You just can't beat a deal like that. This is a high quality product and installation was easy.

This is a nice shower rod. It wasn't as easy as we'd hoped to install it though. The last one we got came with a pattern that helped you place it on the wall. While this one wasn't overly complicated, the instructions could have been more helpful.

dont buy this shower rod.
1) all measurements in the instructions are incorrect
- It lists 65" above the tub edge as the height to install the rod. This is 6-8 inches too high and leaves 6-8 inches of my tub showing beneath the shower curtain.
- It lists that for 58" tubs, there should be no spacing back from the front of the tub. This leaves a 6 inch gap between the curtain and the tub which causes massive water overflows. I had to move the brackets back 4.5" to get to where they should have been placed. This caused me to have to create new holes in the wall and spackle over the gaping holes from the original holes
2) fastener quality is abysmal. Every single screw and fastener stripped the first time I attempted to screw them in. The wall anchors all broke during installation. I had to use my own screws and wall anchors to finish the job.
Shower rods are such a basic product and should require absolutely no effort to install. This is not the case with this rod.
