Wondering how long I can leave exposed on stucco before painting over with normal primer and or topcoat. May want up to 6 weeks.

ZINNSER recommends that you wait 2 hours but we always wait at least 1 day.

1 gal. Peel Stop Triple Thick White Binding Primer (Case of 2) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Using this on Combed Cedar Shingles. This is the only product I could even find to use on these shingles. There is no way possible to get all the old paint off so you have to get all the loose parts off then use the Peel Stop. This is not a primer that will cover for color. It's purpose is to glue down the loose paint and cracks. I have seen a few reviews that expected it to cover a color. It dries pretty clear, with two coats it is white, but you can still see what color was under there. For the really bad parts I used 2 coats, on minor cracking I just used one coat. Looks good now, we will see what happens in 20 years!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money We were experiencing many cracks and peels in our ceiling paint so we thought this product would fix the problem. We even purchased the more expensive within the brand to be sure we got the best results. After sanding, using the product, priming and 2 coats of paint we now have cracks and peels in our ceiling paint. It did not work.

I was priming plywood walls that had contact paper adhered to them in a 1973 mobile home bathroom. Very thin coverage....it was consistency of pudding but spread like elmers glue and dried as such. Kilz did the trick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great base coat While prepping paint surfaces, I use this product to cover defects ( brush lines, hairline cracks and areas surrounding scrapped paint chips ). I then apply a premium top coat for the top quality finished result.
