Good Product gone bad!
We build and repurpose lots of furniture. About 8 months ago we started using Rust-Oleum Zinnser Bulls eye 123 Spray Primer Gray and we loved it.
The past few months we have not had one good can out of the countless cases we have bought.
We can shake the can for 20 minutes upon opening a can and continuous during application, spray short bursts, keep it stored in our home in room temperature conditions. We have even tried storing the cans upside down after shaking.
"NOTHING" WORKS :(
The cans "Spit", "Sputter", "Throw droplets onto our projects and all over the area we are working on and below", " drips BADLY at the valve to the point it drips on the ground, all over the can and builds up"!!!
You don't get a nice even texture due to this malfunction.
We are so discouraged and hope Rust-Oleum listens to consumers complaints as we would love to see a fix to this problem.
I have videos of several cans I would love to share with Rust-Oleum that supports my review and frustration. I have attached on video, and a couple photos for starters.
To those who have no issues, We are "seriously jealous"

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LipstickAndLumber terrible product. Added 2 days to my job.
Followed the directions to a T and had my piece perfectly sanded and free from dust/dirt...not my first rodeo. Gorgeous, humidity-free, 75 degree day and the can applied what looked like chalky "texture". My mid century piece now looks like it has been painted with sand paint and has to wait 2 days to be re-sand. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. DO NOT USE this product!!!!

I had no problems with this primer. It sprayed smooth and even.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CajunLady21 My 2nd least favorite spray primer
As another reviewer stated, this spray primer spit and spewed large droplets of primer while spraying a more fine mist and yes, I did shake it for over a minute after the ball started to rattle. The nozzle also clogged very quickly and I was given a nice surprise with one can where solids had to be sprayed out of the nozzle before paint would flow.
I paint intricate laser cut items weekly and picked this up since the recommended oil based primer spray was even worse than this. I need to cover laser char on my wood and this did not block it one bit. You have to get the shellac based primer to keep the char stain from rising to the surface.

I had a can of this sitting on the shelf for a couple of months and then it failed big time when I first tried to use it. It sprayed large chunks of what looked like confetti for about a second and then the feed tube blocked up and I was not able to get anything more out of it. A total waste of money.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by TomO Poor Product Experience
Despite just a few reviews, I asked about the product and was assured it was the best choice for a spray primer. I should have listened to the review not to buy this.
The spray clogs very quickly, spewing paint overspray on the user, and everything in sight, AND drips all over the dropcloth. What a mess!
The paint gets into the base of the nozzle and makes it hard to press and release when gunked up. Design is part of the problem.
Spray is uneven and spotty - a strong burst of paint is followed by a spit. As far as amount of product, check the product specs; the sq feet this covers is much lower than other sprays.
Cleanup is horrible, the consistency of the overspray is like thick paste. I even had to scrub with mineral spirits it was so tough. You spend more time cleaning up the overspray, drips, your hands than it is worth. Use a brush and paint a primer instead.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smarternotharder take the bad reviews with a grain of salt
Sprays perfectly smooth just like oil based primers AFTER shaken properly. It took 30 seconds of shaking before the ball inside rattled, then another minute of shaking. This is water based, so it probably settles different than typical enamel cans. Works as advertised, just requires commonsense. No clogging experienced.
