I had a Sheetrock wall that was painted with a variety of paints mostly acrylic paint as a mureal. I also had a wall with a light beige paint. It's coverup was horrible. I took it back had them shake it as it was very thin went on like water. I took a drill mixer thinking maybe it had separated and settled out. The smell of the product is very stout and causes your eyes to water and burn, this product should only be used in well ventilated area. After reading lots of positive reviews was my basis on using this instead of Kilzs. Won't be using this again. I wish I could post a picture of its poor coverage and quality.

The Bulls Eye Primer/Sealer worked excellent in coverage on a basement foundation. Really cleaned up the area nice and looks new.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ghe Best primer for most uses
This is one of the best primers. It is very well priced and can be used for almost any painting project. It has superior adhesion and sticks very well to laminates and glossy surfaces. The stain blocking is unbelievable as I used this primer on new drywall and when I painted the room with eggshell paint I got a good 500 square foot from one gallon and was able to finish the room with only one coat.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jtlu Great for new drywall!
I needed to prime my recently finished basement and had no idea which primer would be best. I researched for hours since I'm a newbie and came to find this primer. I only used a single coat and it covers 95% of the mud/seams, looks like its almost the final paint job. What I really liked was how it was dry to the touch in 30 minutes.
If you read this review...stop researching other primers and BUY THIS ONE!
My only issue was the second 5-gallon bucket we opened was a lot runnier that the first one. It wasn't too bad, but you could definitely tell a difference.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy This is a perfectly fine choice of primer
Does primer really reviewing??? My painter used it, not me, and this is what he told me to get. My walls and woodwork look perfect so I guess that it was a good choice.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Peak2Peak Gloss Finish Primer
Truly an "all-purpose" primer; can be use inside or go outside, all in one bucket. Fairly thick, smooth application, and dries with a moderate gloss finish. Because of the gloss finish, I prefer to use on walls, not ceilings…just a personal preference, not a hard and fast rule.
