I thought I would try this tool to speed wallpaper removal for a bathroom remodel. In my case, the top thick layer of the paper had already delaminated and I was left removing a thin back layer with the original adhesive. The tool did not work at all and I quickly returned to using a putty knife. Maybe it would perform well for a full thickness wallpaper, but simply based on my experience, I can't rate it very highly.

The walpaper scraper is the easiest way to remove wallpaper. Buy this tool it will save you hours of time and will not damage the wall. The is best tool to have for wallpaper removal.

Had a stubborn old wallpaper border in a room that used to be a nursery for the previous owner. Now I'm making a nursery for my first kid. This product, when used as instructed in conjunction with the spray product, just doesn't cut it. The blade dulled in minutes and got so gunked up that it became unusable after a few scrapes (yes, I wiped it off the blade often). Just use a putty knife, worked for me.

Very useful tool. I bought it to use with DIF and the paper tiger, however I soon discovered that I had wasted money by purchasing those two items. My steamer worked much better. I steamed small areas at a time and then used this scraper. It peeled away like magic.

The tool was awkward to handle and did not scrape very well. I found that by using a 4 inch scraper held at about a 30 degree angle it out performed this tool. I also mistook the rounded handle as being a detachable scoring tool as it looked the same on the surface but that was my fault for not fully reading the package. I would not spend the money on this tool.

This product was indeed razor sharp left marks all over my walls and was of no real help. I have old wallpaper from the 1960's, this product went right through the paper and into the plaster. Leaving swirlies everywhere :( This was with a light to moderate amount of pressure. I will not ever use this product again.

Removing wallpaper is a tedious and time-consuming job. Used as directed there is little danger that you will gouge the wallboard as you might with another type of scraper. I do take exception with the pictures showing the wallpaper coming off in sheets. Don't expect it to do that. I had a kitchen with 2 layers of wallpaper; some of which was over bare wallboard. It took me 3 days but patience paid off.

Difficult to get under wallpaper edges and doesn't do well at scraping the wallpaper backing either.
