It did what it was supposed to do and scored the wallpaper. It's just a shame the blades kept falling off every couple of minutes. Try removing your wallpaper without this first, and don't get it unless you really can't get the wallpaper off without scoring. Wish we hadn't wasted our money, even if it was fairly inexpensive.

I had a single head paper tiger scoring tool before the purchase of this one. It descentegrated on me while using it. I purchased a 'Piranana' at Lowe's thier brand of a wallpaper scoring tool (it is blue in color)? Which was as far as I am concerned worthless, it did work half as well as the Zinnser PaperTiger, I only hope this recent purchase holds up better than my last purchase of a Paper Tiiger.

I wouldn't use this product unless there was no other option.

I did two walls with this tool and the blades were bent. They don't make them tough enough for plaster walls. Cheap squeaky poorly made junk. Don't waste your money on this tool. You'll be disappointed.

The PaperTiger perforates wallpaper and thereby enhances absorption of fluid. The blades are sharp when new, although the single head does mean you need to go over the same area a couple of times to produce a well perforated paper surface. Unfortunately, the design of the PaperTiger limits how close to the trim or wall edge you can perforate. The sharpness of the blades on the wheels does decrease somewhat with use. (I used the PaperTiger for wallpaper removal in 3 rooms.) Only light pressure should be used when using the device, as the blade tips can leave signficant holes (similar to those produced by pushpins) in soft materials like drywall. The PaperTiger is easy to use, and a large wall area can be perforated in a short period. The device is, however, a little pricey for what it offers.

This product is easy to use. It doesn't require a lot of pressure on the wallpaper. I did circular motion and was random. When I applied the solution, and waited 10 minutes the wallpaper nearly fell right off. I didn't use commercial solution but used cheaper laundry fabric softener and mixed with water. Saved half versus a commercial wallpaper adhesive solvent.

I got through half of a small bathroom and the tines sheared off. Absolute cheap junk.

This works well. The only issue is that you can't get near moldings or the ceiling due to the design. Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to.
