Heavy duty materials and the extra wide adhesive edge are what makes this zipper the perfect fit for a tough job. The Heavy Duty zipper comes with the exclusive ZipWall Zipper Knife sheeting cutter. To install this zipper, just remove the backing and stick it to the barrier. Then open the zipper and cut the sheeting to make the doorway. The Zipper Knife sheeting cutter double cuts a channel in the plastic to keep the zipper from jamming while opening and closing. Nope this one is not sold in stores, but it appears the same exact thing at a slightly higher price is available in the stores. (I bought in store today).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Different Application Than Intended I used 2 of these Zipwall Zippers to make a door for a clubhouse in the basement for the kids to play in in our unfinished basement. I got some fun material on clearance, enough to make a 10 x 10 square to go from the rafters to the floor, and sewed the zipper onto the material, and hung the material from the rafters, and they can zip the door closed for "secret clubhouse meetings". I sewed some tiebacks to the top out of cotton webbing, if they want to have a doorway, they can roll the material up and tie it up so the "door" can stay open, but most of the time, they just use one of the zippers to go in and out that way. Kind of fun, and great for rainy days. June 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great product easily attached in doorway to keep the dust from sanding contained to one area April 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kept dust out!! Wish the adhesive could be a bit more, I installed them on a heavy duty tarp across the top of a stairwell that keeps the construction dust from entering the foyer and downstairs and it works great. It has been up for several weeks with daily use, the only thing I wound up doing was to put glue on the adhesive so it was permanent. February 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It works, and keeps on working... There's no way to stop all the dust and still work, but this zipper(s) actually do work very well. We mounted one on 6 mill plastic, and went in and out of the construction site many many times... It didn't break, and I believe I can tape it into another application... The $15 may scare you off, but there are two so it's worth it...especially if you're a slow homeowner (DIYer) ..... January 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tent Zipper Easy fix. Easy to install. Easy to use. Glad I found it. January 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice product great design smooth zipper action This helps to provide a great barrier keeping your job "area" separate from the "clean" areas on the jobsite. The Zipwall does a fantastic job of minimizing dirt and dust transfer into unwanted areas of the job site. The zipper action is smooth. The adhesive is strong. Additionally, you can use two zippers side by side to make a wider doorway for bringing in materials/supplies to the work area. One of the grossly overlooked areas of a job is the cleanup. The Zipwall is fantastic in reducing clean up time at the end of the job. It more than pays for itself in clean up time alone. July 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Other uses, besides the obvious I know that this zipper is designed to keep dust and mess under control. I would have used it when I was dry walling my shop. When I did learn about it I immediately saw it as a solution to another problem. My shop is divided into two areas, the main area where I keep my wood and metal tools, and a separate 'lab' area where I assemble electronics and grind and polish lenses and mirrors. This needs to be kept really clean, and a conventional door does not hack it. So I used the zipper kit and heavy duty poly sheeting to seal off the door, using one zipper on each side, and rolling the flap up and out of the way for entry. It works great, and it may also work for other situations, such as a spray paint booth July 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for blocking off a dusty room This zipper kit is ment to be applied to a plastic sheet that you put over a doorway to a room that you have under construction. It allows you to install a zipper on the plastic so you can open and close it. I haven't actually used it yet but have inspected it. It comes with a cutting knife to make the slit in the plastic and comes with two zipper that can be applied to two different pieces of plastic. The zipper is self adheasive. Its not ment to be re-used but I think when after you are done you could cut the plastic a little wide on each side of the zipper then possibly even use duct tape to hang it back up on another door way. I see this being very handy for rooms that you are doing alot of drywall work in. June 25, 2013
