I have always used Ziploc products and I was very excited to see these containers and they were supposed to be leak resistant but they are not unfortunately. Maybe I just bought a bad batch but every time I bring in milk for my cereal to work in the mornings they always leak. No matter how much I tighten the lid. I had to eventually throw out my lunch bag because it was just damaged from the milk spillage. I've even taken photos of the container leaking when I tilt it. I'm really upset about the product however I do use other ziploc products on a daily basis. I just wouldn't recommend this particular one.

I love using the Twist n Loc storage containers. They used to sell a smaller version of which I have one left and then a larger version that wasn't tall as much as it was wider (I have one of those left too). I have been looking everywhere to see if I can find more and I have had no luck! Wish they continued making the variety of sizes!

Looking at these other reviews I noticed the reason I LOVE the container and others don't.
I use the container to reliably transport a variety of foods (e.g., lasagna, oatmeal, nuts) to work and never worry about the top being knocked off.
I am NOT putting pure liquids into the container, it's not a water bottle, its a container, for food.
Also it's super perfect for allotting food for meals, especially competitors who eat six times a day and need things read to go anywhere.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FFJD The only storage container I need
I discovered these about a year ago and have used them for all my food storage needs. Each container holds enough leftovers for one meal (for me), and since I don't have lots of different sizes and styles of storage containers, it's easy to find a lid (what a blessing that is!) Also, because they are sturdy and affordable, I can send food home with friends and not worry about getting my container back.

I have the two-cup size of the twist-n-loc and am very happy with them. I use them for food storage in the refrigerator and for lunches. I have been using them for over two years, and they are still in great condition.
I WISH ZIPLOC MADE A 1-CUP SNACK SIZE, because the kids just don't need a 2-cup size for most of their items. The twist-off lid is awesome for the kids -- the "pull-off" lids very frequently result in messes for them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kupunakane Very versatile and convenient
I have many of these 16oz and 32oz containers and they work great. We use them primarily for leftovers and they are much easier to than messing with the snap on lids. We use them to organize some arts and crafts as well. They clean up easy in the dishwasher and are easy to store. The only suggestion I have for Ziploc is that I wish they came out with an 8oz version which would be great for fruit like strawberries in my daughters school lunch box.

These containers are great to take soup for lunch. Easy screw on lids, solid not flimsy like some containers. Wish the large were screw on too instead of snap...and wish Ziploc would make a snack size one.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wet backpack guy Looks great, but doesn't seal all the way
This is a great product idea because mason jars are heavy and a danger if they break in my backpack, the only problem is that they don't fully seal. Before you try to tell me that I didn't put them on properly, trust me, I checked that repeatedly. The lids are on right, tight, and they leak. In fact, if I tightened them any more, I would destroy the lid because it is made of thin plastic. These aren't old and beaten up either. They are brand new and washed in the dishwasher only one time.
I put this in my backpack with some grapefruit pieces and the juice leaked out into my backpack - which I always have electronics in. Now I have juice on my laptop and all my binders. Thanks Ziploc for creating a product that in theory is great but is built too cheaply to be reliable. I'll be throwing them all in the garbage when I get home so I don't accidentally do this again. Now I have to shop around for a product that has some quality built into it.
The reason I won't be looking at Ziploc is that this is the one product of theirs that I'd have assumed would hold liquid reliably. Turns out that not even this can do the trick.... Time to shop for another brand.
