Gallon Plastic Freezer Bag 14-Bag (12-Pack) is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 191.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasted tons of food and money My friends and I decided to prepare in advance 20 freezer meals, thinking that it would be an easy way to save money, save time, and serve delicious meals to our families. It was a very fun project, until the freezer meals that we were preparing started leaking out of the seams of the bags before they made it to the freezer. Thanks to Ziploc gallon freezer bags, there was raw beef, chicken, and pork liquid dripping all over our kitchens, floors, and even cars as we had to transport the meals home. This was a disaster and I am so mad right now that we went to the trouble and expense only to have the bags fail as they did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless I recently bought several boxes of gallon and quart varieties for packing meat and more than 75% ripped when opening them to fill or empty . As you probably know they are one of the more expensive on the market and we are both disabled. Buying meat in larger quantities and then breaking them down is one way we try to save money but buying Ziploc is not an option anymore I am sorry to say. Please make them like they used to be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Go back to the old formula Was a great idea to add a little tab of plastic to make it easier to open the bags, but whatever you changed in the plastic formula and zipper has made these bags totally useless. You can't open a bag that has been in the freezer without the zipper tearing off the bag. That is if you could get the zipper to zip together in the first place. Please bring bag your old formula (you can leave the new tab) but the old plastic was much better than your new stuff. We will not be buying these ever again until we see something on your product that says you have gone back to your old ways !!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Defective??? Not sure what is going on but after the bags have been in the freezer, when I go to open them, the integrity of the bag above the zipper has be affected, it tears :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from closure I have been buying this bag for years and now they have been rough to close they dont want to seal as good as they use to. I think i am going to change to the zipper bags.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to par... I have been using Ziplock Freezer bags (gallon size) for many years. I use them to store food products in the freezer (usually meat and vegetables). What I have found is that the food develops frost inside the bag which makes the meat a little tougher but doesn't change the vegetables.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stinks Would like to know what you have done with your ziplock gallon size bags. They are so hard to open. Even my son agrees you have changed them for the worse. Sometimes I pull so hard to get them open I put my fingernail though it. Looking for a new brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tears at the side seams I am sooooo disappointed with these bags. I am not sure what has changed, but I do know with every single bag the same thing has happened: I take the bag out of fridge/freezer (this morning it was bacon inside the fridge-I use NEW bags everytime- this was NOT reused!) and when I open the seal, the bag tears 1" down the side of the bag, rendering it useless. So, I still have bacon left and I have to get a NEW bag and put it in it because there is no seal anymore. So the bag is useless!
