Gallon Plastic Freezer Bag 14-Bag (12-Pack) is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 170.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasted tons of food and money My friends and I decided to prepare in advance 20 freezer meals, thinking that it would be an easy way to save money, save time, and serve delicious meals to our families. It was a very fun project, until the freezer meals that we were preparing started leaking out of the seams of the bags before they made it to the freezer. Thanks to Ziploc gallon freezer bags, there was raw beef, chicken, and pork liquid dripping all over our kitchens, floors, and even cars as we had to transport the meals home. This was a disaster and I am so mad right now that we went to the trouble and expense only to have the bags fail as they did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless I recently bought several boxes of gallon and quart varieties for packing meat and more than 75% ripped when opening them to fill or empty . As you probably know they are one of the more expensive on the market and we are both disabled. Buying meat in larger quantities and then breaking them down is one way we try to save money but buying Ziploc is not an option anymore I am sorry to say. Please make them like they used to be.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to par... I have been using Ziplock Freezer bags (gallon size) for many years. I use them to store food products in the freezer (usually meat and vegetables). What I have found is that the food develops frost inside the bag which makes the meat a little tougher but doesn't change the vegetables.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from closure I have been buying this bag for years and now they have been rough to close they dont want to seal as good as they use to. I think i am going to change to the zipper bags.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointed!! Ziploc has ALWAYS been my "go to" bags when freezing. I have been a Ziploc user for years, especially when canning/freezing season comes in. Recently, I ran out of the older freezer bags I had in stock, and had to buy the new ones. What happened?! I pulled a bag out of the box, and had to look twice to be sure I had picked up the correct ones. They are SO much thinner, had holes in the first 2 I pulled out of the box, and they don't seal as well as the older ones. Epic fail!!! I will be returning the new stock I just bought, (pint, quart and gallon bags) and looking for another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I used to always use the Ziploc Freezer bags with the double zipper (quart and gallon) to freeze and store food in the refrigerator and freezer. I recently started using the bags with the easy open tabs but the quality of the bags has really depreciated. It seems like every other bag will leak as soon as I put anything with liquid in them. Doubling the bag only works some times. They are leaking from the bottom of the bag and not the zippered area. I'm afraid to freeze raw meat because when it comes time to defrost it, the blood leaks out all over the refrigerator shelves. The plastic also seems more stiff and not as pliant as they used to be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pull Apart Tabs Fail REGULARLY! Bought FREEZER bags, seled them and put them in the FREEZER. Go to open them and the pull apart tab fails. You know this, people are complaining about it on this page and on the facebook page. FIX IT. Then tell us you FIXED IT. If this was a car, it would be recalled. The ZIPLOC Freezer bags DO NOT WORK!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Defective??? Not sure what is going on but after the bags have been in the freezer, when I go to open them, the integrity of the bag above the zipper has be affected, it tears :(
