WL25 Water Level is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I got this level to help with a shop build. It was just what I needed. It worked great. Only draw back was learning how to use it. But now that I figured it out I wont use any other level for a big job again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Clever Concept This very clever tool works great, once you learn how to use it, (a little tricky at first,) and if you observe a couple of rules relating to how it works. 1: it is absolutely necessary to ensure there are no large air bubbles in the tubing for the device to produce accurate leveling results. By that, I don't mean tiny random bubbles clinging to the insides of the tubing here and there, but rather large bubbles that take up the entire inside width of the tube. This is easy to do if you are careful in how the tube is filled with water when you go to use it. The siphoning method in the instructions works well, as long as you make sure the "uphill" end of the tubing doesn't slip out of the container you are drawing water from while you are "downstream" clamping shut the far end. (Happened to me the first time...) Rule 2 is to become comfortable with how slowly to lower the "working end" of the water tube so the intermittent beeping becomes steady, indicating level. The first time I used the device, I went sailing right past level (that is, lowering my end of the tube,) to where the beeps became steady, and then too far. The steady beeping stops and goes silent if you go too far. Raise your end of the tube higher again, and very slowly lower it, pausing every so often so the water stabilizes in the tube, (that is, stops moving up and down,) then slowly lower it again. When the audible sound goes from intermittent to steady-stop and mark the level of the water on your target. The only other thing to keep in mind, is that the beeping is very loud-indoors. However, used outdoors on a busy street with 50' of tubing, it becomes difficult to hear over the traffic noise. Have a helper posted by the device to tell you when the sound goes steady. With those things in mind, this device works fantastic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless Unit would not beep when water level was achieved, save some coin and buy some clear hose and food coloring.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from INCONSISTENT I have this unit set up on a 3' x 6" piece of 3/4" Advantech as close to square as the plastic leveling indicators allow. this way I can plumb the unit with a 6 foot level. I then secure the whole unit to whatever I am leveling with 3.5" riser screws. I then test level about a foot away from the units so that I know the tones will work correctly. the tones are finicky at best so I eventually get 4-6 marks in varying distances from the unit each about 6' apart. when I go back with my 6' level, each mark is typically 1/4" to 1/2" off. now multiply this difference out over 32'+ and you have a real problem. maybe this unit was intended to hang rain gutters? or plumbing pipe? back to the tones. starting with the line below where I know level should be, you raise the water level slowly, typically get a single tone...maybe not...go another inch or so and you get the tone saying you are too high. lower the unit an inch to shut it off and then raise it back up...and repeat. I have cleaned the unit...its not that. next trip to HD, this thing is going back with me.
