Not too difficult to put together - took my time and did it in about two 1-hour periods. Only part I had trouble with was the shelves - ended up turning the bbq upside down to get to the spot to put the bolts in. Found the front area of the grill does not heat up as much as the centre and back, but you learn how to compensate for that. Eventually will get a rotisserie which should solve the problem of uneven heat when cooking roasts and whole chickens. By the way, I HAD to buy a natural gas bbq because propane is not allowed in our condo. I have a Weber propane bbq and this Broil Mate will never come close, but I guess I have to let that go!

This grill is relatively new to me and I have only cooked on it twice. It starts great, heats up super fast, and seems to distribute heat pretty evenly. The grill is stable and made with good materials. Not to keen on the front doors...they dont always close well. Cooking surface pretty large and the unique upper tray is useful.
Assembly a bit challenging and better with two people. Standard natural gas hookup was easy and the supply line is plenty long.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Griller Excellent Grill, made in North America
We've had this grill for over a year. It arrived with a bent part, cause in shipping which was promptly replaced by the manufacture OMC of Canada. The grill is well made for the price compare to others in that price range with a thick aluminum cooking chamber. The heat distribution on the grill is very even and it heats quickly.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SteakLover Hats off to Home Depot! Ordered on line and the product arrived fully intact in 5 days. I dread assembling anything, but instructions were straight forward and I had the bar-b-que up and running in 2 hours.
This grill heated up to 500° F in 10 minutes. Grills to perfection and cleans easily. I also like the look... lines are clean and the finish is pleasant to behold.
I like the drop down side tablets... less space occupied for winter storage.
Thanks Home Depot for this excellent product and great service.

This BBQ was easier to assemble than I expected as a lot of the parts had been pre assembled.(for instance to the burners, the lighter and the gas line were already installed in the bottom casting).
The assembly instructions were somewhat overwhelming as they were for at least 4 different models of bbq containing up to 123 parts and so a lot of the instructions were irrelevant for the model that I was assembling.
The biggest disappointment are the doors--they are injection molded plastic and are pretty mickey mouse compared to the other metal parts of the bbq.
I have used the bbq 2 or 3 times and I am very happy with its performance. The igniter only seems to light the right hand part of the H burner rather than both sides but that is a minor inconvenience.
For the price and performance this bbq is good value and "Made in Waterloo Ont."

Sturdy and solid, my last one lasted 6 years. The only downside is that Home Depot does not stock this in California, their largest grill market, so I had to pay $60 to ship it to the store.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ameoba Outstanding product. Outstanding value.
Pros: 1) easy to wash non-stick grills; 2) battery powered ignition; 3) a lot of space on the warming rack for buns or to keep things warm; 4) stylish stainless steel top and front; 5) warms up quickly and fairly evenly; 6) with a fairly large hood, can cook a fair size chicken and turkey; 7) no more charoil; 8) solid and quality construction.
Cons: 1) Assembly took me and my dad in-law about 2 hours. Assembly instructions could be clearer. Saved the cost of having it assembled at the store.
Overall: This is an excellent basic BBQ that should last you for a number of years. Most people rarely use side or rear burners. You can make a wonderful beer can chicken without a rear burner. The Canadian manufacturer has been making BBQs for many years. Don't bother with lower priced BBQs with more features but subpar quality. Highly recommended product. Bring on the steaks and grilled veggies.
